I personally like to play against the toughest lists out there.

It gives me a challenge!

I don't really mind what army I'm playing against. It's the opponent that counts.

....uncalled for.......lol

And I think I won that game anyway just going to show that zerker bolt pistols (1 round, 2 Wraiths and a wound on a cron lord) are better than zerker CC weapons in some cases (4 turns to do 2 wounds to a cron lord) and a Khorne Lord (4 rounds of CC, No attacks the whole time due to 1's on a DW, wounds himself twice, and is killed by crons). Perhaps it also shows my mad 40k skillz as I can slaughter crons that easily even without about half my army actually doing anything

I have to it noramlly is the player not the army, but I have a love of fighting against DE. the games I have had against them have always ended in last turn ditch efforts, like a tactical marine killing a Talos on the last turn to hold an Objective. or a squad of terminators taking on a trio of Talos and three squads of warriors, lasting for 3 turns of close combat. even the good many of times I lost against them, I enjoyed the game of course this was more than likely from the player being a very good gamer, and the relaxed enviroment.

You should probably tell your opponent he should spread out after he lands by running during the shooting phase.... would be the polite thing to do in friendly games.

I love facing an empty battlefield, instant win ^_^

Otherwise I prefer playing CSM when I field my SM as they are reasonably on par with each other

Or Eldar when I field my Tau as they are both fairly matched for their mobility and firepower

Because I've seen them before, I've had plenty of time to think about how my army can beat 'em, and more than half the time the players who bring them aren't as good as they think they are.

Yeh, thats one thing I like about the group of friends I play with, none of them play copy paste internet armies, or if they do its only a template and they change it to their own style, it keeps the game interesting.

Well, so far I have found that I love playing against Orks just because they are so versatile I never have the same fight twice when facing them.

I have faced Tau three times and wiped them.. but I think that's because the players using them were quite like me, beginners.

Basically I like fighting Hoard armies because as a Grey Knight player, I'd much rather an army have to come to me then me have to go and get an army.

In matches against friends we help each other out by pointing out mistakes like that, but sometimes we both forget. I can't really catch it everytime, but I try. but anyways, its still fun to decimate a unit fresh out of deep strike regardless of whether or not they ran to spread out

In the predatory sense, I love fighting Tau. They're great bloodletter fodder. In the non-predatory sense, I love playing non-mechanized Eldar. They give me a good run for my money, and they've always got a trick or two up their sleeve. Orks are a great challenge for Daemons, since they play similar angles.
