Heh, one of the few times I ever forgot my phone when I went to classes when I was in law school was my second year. I get an IM from my roomate who heard my phone ringing, saw it was our mutual friend who was on Navy shore leave, and told me about it. I had to arrange for him, our buddy and his wife, and my gf at the time to all meet up at a certain place. My GF was so pissed about that, as she was really close with my buddy's wife, that even though we were engaged later that year it was in many ways the back slide of our relationship, and we broke up about six months later. Now, how mad should a person be at a somebody for forgetting their phone? Not very, but it was enough to bring out all kinds of problems and concerns she had in our relationship.

So, while I don't consider it a superstition, I try to avoid leaving my phone when I leave the apartment.
