Pulsating Possessed Chaos Marine

In The depths of a Tomb World, placing demo charges.

Iron Warriors.

I died a title inside when i returned to the hobby and found my favorite Emperor's place breaching traitors lost what i loved the most about them:

Their ability to be fearless when occupying any fortified structure (Pillboxes, trenches, barricades.) if they were the "defenders" in a mission. and an always active +1 Armour penetration on said structures.

The Basalisk: not the best artillery in the game, but a personal favorite that had been lovingly converted with Iron Warrior crew, spiky bits and an Imperial Fist nailed on the front, it's all those yellow idiots are good for ~8 ( counts as extra armor.)

Rearranging the force origination chart to add in more dakka spewing heavy support at the expense of fast attack which i never bothered with anyway.

no restriction on Obliteraters, ( i liked the sudden fear on my opponents face when they appeared in his back lines and started to butcher his heavy weapons teams.)

It is said that orks don't really have very dense muscles, plus, they are nowhere near tyranid warrior strength, or space marines, although they are stronger than guardsmen (exept catachans?), which in turn are stronger than tau, these changes are too small to mesure on a Bio-Titan to Grot scale.

Terminators Chaos or otherwise - stat lines are the same as a full SM Scout. Oh wait, their BS and WS are upped by 1.

So WHY is a terminator SO much better. Armor that dies to anything Eldar. Oh wait, IG can level a squad of termis with combined fire power, Ummm, Orks over run them like a fungus. Demons rape them like rampaging pirates. Do I need to continue?

Fluff wise these guys should be able to pacify a 2000 pt battle with only 20 guys. The stat lines in general need to be more spread out anyway. we have a range from - to 10. Let's be creative and use it.

When I get home I'm going to do SO much coke and ---- hot women. It will be like, 'It's 5pm..., time to do some coke and ---- hot women!'

Strength increases granted by the armour are represented by the in-built powerfists.
The armour's sheer thickness is represented by the 2+/5++ save.

Yes, they should be tougher, but wearing more armour isn't going to make you physically tougher or stronger. Scouts are just Marines without power armour.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

When GW finally embraces the D20 system then I think we may see strengths and toughnesses that more closely reflect the models fluff.

Power Armour may make you stronger as it is powered and servo assisted. So the strength taken to move the armour is negated or even increased, as in the powered exoskeletons that are in development at the moment.

And aren’t scouts trainee marines (with the exception of Space Wolf Scouts?) so they may not be as strong as a standard Terminator or Marine.

The cult of the Child, Sensei and Illuminati. That was never sufficiently rounded up for me. It seems its a case if it doesn’t fit in to how they want the universe to be now either blame tzeentch or send in the 'Nids for a buffet as was the fate of the Squats. It’s simply a lack of imagination .

Also the Chaos God Malal though, this I understand to have been a legal issue against GW for a change.

Daemons more to the point of daemonettes and horrors.. Chaos dreadnaughts, chaos having to use generic daemons, and I could go on for awhile but these are my standouts as a chaos player.

Chaos being equal with loyalist makes sense to me..

The new codex says most chaos marines are like goldfish,

"...all memories of the past are swiftly washed away by blood and sensation. And any thoughts of the future are little more then half imagined cravings and dreams."

Bob the Bloody strode through the battlefield with his squad.
"Rejoice in the coming oblivion!" cruel laughter was echoed by his squad as they charged the loyalist marines.
"Praise be to the dark gods!" yelled Bob. his squad roared with approval. Blood splashed his face as the Icon bearer was flattened by a powerfist. Distracted bob and his men finished off the loyalists and then stood around confused.
"Praise be to .. ah" Bob look to his men and they shrugged. The blood covering his armor had washed away his memory. He had a craving for a cigarette no wait, wasn't there an objective, no it was definately a cigarette he wanted. Bob stood there daydreaming about what he was suppose to do. Until he forgot his name and who he was.
