GW do not make their own paints.
FW will not make the powders.
They probably have had them made by MIG themselves as they are certainly the market leaders.

Hmm, interesting if they are made by HMG (same bottle design, as mentioned). I love the Coat D'Arms paint range dearly (metallics excluded).

Certainly would be interested in seeing some comparisons between these and the MIGs, these are probably easier for me to acquire, if they're similar quality.

If they're only mail order from Forge world count me out. I'd rather just support my local hobby store and stick with MIG than shell out the extra shipping cost.

My point was that when does FW ever lower prices? or GW for that matter? Competition seems to make them RAISE prices (Maybe the brits have a different form of capitalism... i dont get it)

Something that may have passed you by...

"Forge World Will be Passing on UK Tax Reduction to its Customers

Recently, the UK Government has decided to reduce the rate of Value Added Tax (the UK sales tax) on all products subject to it by 2.5%, reducing it from 17.5% to 15%.

As a result Forge World will be passing on the effect of this reduction to all its customers with immediate effect, which will be represented by a reduction in our prices. All orders placed on our online store from now on will be processed and charged at these new lower rates, (except for our book products, which are not subject to VAT.)

This is great news for all our customers worldwide, because although this is a UK tax change, we have decided to apply these new lower prices to all the orders placed directly with Forge World, not just those from within the UK. This means that Forge World models are now lower in price for everyone."

Yup you got me there.. I totally overlooked it

Oh wait, I didnt.. That means FW isnt going to be charging their customers MORE. The govt lowering the taxes != a company lowering their prices. Its FW reducing the cost to the SAME IT ALREADY WAS (relatively) :p If FW DIDNT pass on the drop in taxes it would have been a price increase (we just wouldnt be told)
