As a word of warning, most comedians I've heard talk abou ttheir early shows (O'Brien, Simon Pegg) have talked about how much they bombed in the beginning. It's bound to happen.
Don't let it ruin you though, it doesn't mean your comedy is bad.

And if you get gigs going. I'm totally coming to see and support you. Wouldn't mind a trip up to Lundun to see some comedy and support a Dakkaite!
