N00b. Old Skool pros have D%, and Old OLD Skool Proz have D% that are D20's
I voted D20, I love my little 5% dice.
Old, old, old school have a d20 marked 0 to 9 twice and a d6 to say if ita 1 to 10 or 11 to 20...
Mick
Old Old old OLD Skoolz onez haz 0-9 twice that you had to paint different colours yourself!
Old, old, old, old, old school had rockz which you had to shape yourself and paint on the numbers and colours by grinding up other rocks and mixing them with water.
Not one of them, but felt like contributing to the combo
I use the old MTG life counter D20s for counting kill points, but I like the 6 sided ones as well.

Nah can't be bothered trying to find the D12s, and using the D6 cases the GW dice come in are better for counting the turns. The d20s just look cooler and solve any problem that can come up, they don't usually get pased 10.

I vote D3! Gotta love the look on someones face when you pull out a D3 when they thought you'd simply take a D6 and divide by 2

My favorite dice are actually clear, painted pip dice, that have square edges, because they are mathematicaly closer to rolling true.
Rounded corner, opaque drilled pip dice do not roll true.
I don't care how many sides they have so I didn't vote...
Vegas casino dice are the best example of fair dice. I play only with clear, numeric sided (not pips) square edged dice.
(With clear dice you can see they are not weighted.)

No, it's a dice with two sides. Exactly two sides.
It's not geometrically improbable in any way.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. |

I usually play a Cleric, so d8s should technically be my favourite. However, I enjoy my D&D group's house rules regarding natural 1s and 20s to hit, so I'd have to say a combination of the d20 and the percentile dice.
Nothing is funnier than having an NPC wizard blow himself up with a spell whilst a rogue is aiming a crossbow at him, only later to successfully bluffing the rest of the party into believing that he blew up the wizard

I own and play:
Space Marines (all flavours)
Tau Empire
Tyranids
Necrons |

D-10s. They can still be rolled in pretty large numbers, but have a wider spread than d6s. The only pen and paper RPGs I've really enjoyed playing (as opposed to just reading the rules for and talking about) have been White Wolf and Donjon, both of whom used d10s.

For me the d20 is the iconic die that says 'gaming' to me. I've also had more "lucky" and "unlucky" d20s then all other die types combined (and probably multiplied...well, except maybe those gawdawful d6s that came with Heroclix, I swear they were all cursed).
