I'll echo what some have said with the Possessed. They just look soooo amazing. With a good roll they can be pretty damn potent. I also love lesser daemons. For 130 points I always find a good use for them. I guess if I'm gonna play chaos I'm gonna have daemons.

GK Purigation squad all with incinorators they are wicked fun but they damn expensive. Also love running 2 squads of inquisitorial Stormtroopers in chimera's there quite fun to mix with GK's

Probably the Swooping Hawks. Nowhere near the best or most cost-effective Aspects out there, but the models are just so gosh darned gorgeous...

Flash Gitz. Most people don't even give them a second look, but the idea of a unit of Nobs armed to the teeth with über-shootas is just too cool to let it go.

Oh Man, being an ork player, I have SO many guilty pleasure units. The nice thing of course is that most of them are actually good units to, and if they are only mediocure, I still have plenty of points left over for the game winners.
Old codex I always toyed around with a battlewagon that had maximum big shootas, big gunz, and loading it up with flashgitz. Massive dakka.
My current guilt is a 19 'Ard boyz (including PK Nob) + Pk-Warboss in a Battle Wagon.
Storm Boyz also seem to make their way into my finalized list, no matter what I do. It's weird, they just always show up no matter how much I try to write them out, there they are.

My Genestealer Cultist army that counts as tyranids, but since I want to stay true to the fluff of the stealer cults I can't field anything that count as a tyranid warrior, a carnifex or indeed anything that moves faster than infantry. So I use masses of broodbrothers (=spinegaunts) and stealers to fight the enemy. I usually loose grinning happily.

A single Thunderfire Cannon. I rarely kill or even threaten anything with it, but I've scratchbuilt it myself and am so proud over it that I bring it along most every time I play my marines.

For wolves its Logan/Ragnar 2 raiders redeemers and 2 squads of 5 termies. 1500 pts out of a 2500 game. usually they hurt something but most likly won't ever make back their points.... Land Raiders are cool

Hehe... a battlewagon filled with burna boyz. The thing is goddam open topped, I ram it into the heart of the enemy any fire multiple templates out!

GK GM w/ 5 terminators in an IG list, not innefective by any means, but 365 pts? I'll take three basalisks please!

Oh, and 10 man units of wraithguar as troops. With fortune. Good times.

I love the Exarch model and I have a pretty unique paint job on them, so I have a hard time justifying leaving them behind.

That dread is great willy. I would have to say 1k sons. I am " trying " to figure out an effective build with them.

Thanks, Vindicator. I know a guy who plays Tzeentch-themed CSM. He does fine against more "casual" players, but I don't honestly think there's any way to use them "competitively."

I don't know why. They just scream Imperial Guard for me, and always have. I mean, I know Valkyries are oh oh so much better, but...

Nothing says "Mechanized Guard" to me like having Sentinel outriders guarding the flanks.

Storm Troopers Deep Striking. It almost never works but when it does it hilarious to watch your squad show up and completely destroy a squad in one round of shooting.

Basilisk with an armored top, converted to look like a StuG III. AV 12 just isn't enough to keep it alive for more than a single shot, but I love my conversion too much.

For T-Sons, Rapid fire and charge. Plus, its fun to watch your opponents frustration when they shoot lascannons at you

My entire DH army, they suck but the fluff is delicious. And my boomwagon, I've never hit anything with it and they always think it's a threat and kill it. Guess it keeps em from shooting me boyz so much lol.

Boomwagons are great for that. And then there are the games when it earns triple or quadruple its pts cost back.

Formerly, I would take a Lord Commissar with a Power Fist. He was just a cool model and I couldn't leave him behind!

More recently, I take "Superfexes"... Really kitted-out carnifexes with something like 100 points of extra biomorphs. What isn't cool about three 200 point monstrous creatures massacring a bunch of space marines?
