it's look very nice, i think alot of people are gonna stand with the jaws wide open.

In turn one when there are 176 models on the table, and you get the first turn.

I too have had very good luck so far using a Punisher w/Pask in it and HB sponsons. Played about 15 or so games, and took 3rd in one local tourney and 1st in another wiht my IG. Played against Orks, Blood Angels, Tyranids (Pask ate 2 carnifexes for breakfast and spit out the shells for use as ashtrays), Dark Eldar, Ultramarines, Eldar, Chaos, and a few home-grown chapters.

Lost to the Eldar once and once a generic SM chapter the guy made up...both of those had more to do with incredibly bad dice rolling on my part, and very good dice rolling on their parts. yes the Punisher is pricey, but I have enjoyed using it...plus when I tell people that it has a heavy 20 gatling and 9 more HB shots if it stays parked at BS4...they tend to zero in on it which gives my vendettas and my other tanks more time to inflict even worse damage to their armies. And if they ignore the Punisher, then I just keep it there and blaze away. And against a horde Ork amry..well....lets just say it was a joy to not only throw that many dice against an Ork player, but the carnage it layed down on the greenskins was enough to bring a smile to even a Commissar's dour face.


If I may offer one suggestion, the cut & paste format from Army Builder is a terrible one for offering criticism/suggestions here on dakka.....I took only a couple of minutes and reformatted your list for you....in the future it might get you more feedback to do it something like this....

See how much easier on the eye it is, and also offers concise info without all the extra junk that doesn't need to be on there? Hope that helps and keep hammerin away at the Mathhammer Lovers.....If games of chance where left up to the Mathhammer crowd, then we wouldnt even play the games, we'd just break out our calculators and see who wins that way.

But seriously, that was the most polite and helpful way to dissuade army-builder copy/paste I have ever seen. Kudos to you for being awesome.

And maybe I'll give the Punisher another chance... I have the model after all and it IS nice to roll 20 dice...

Thanks for the compliment, although I already have my own little guardsmen with Mrs. Bart....anymore little guardsmening will have to have prior authorization from the Mrs. Bart Command Element.

And I guess my polite persuasion techniques were learned as a teacher in another lifetime a long time ago. Don't get me wrong, I use Army Builder for my Army Lists, but I just hate trying to read them when they are cut & pasted onto Dakka (or any other website for that matter).

Cheers and give that Punisher a try.....with HB sponsons and Pask at the Controls, staying stationary, its 29 dice a turn at BS4 you get to roll offa one tank, and if you fight horde armies I strongly recommend it...makes quick work or Ork mobs. I usually pair mine with a stripped down regular Russ with a HB in the hull and no sponsons....Orks get roasted and toasted and served up for dinner all day long with that combo.

Hello Lord Thallium, I have returned after stealing your shotgun conversion idea.

Needless to say, it looks AWESOME!

I did everything exactly like the picture and directions said but i took an extra moment to fill the gaps with a little GS.

Well it isnt my conversion its someone else's and ive borrowed it as well but ive changed it a bit, i flipped the the barrels so it looks like it has sights and has more of a combat shotgun look ill post pics soonish
