Oh man.. let me make a list:

iPod dock. Drum sticks. Wallet, Superglue, Magnifying glass, Phone. Stack of CDs. Speakers. Monitor. Cell phone box. Lamp. Another lamp. About a dollar in change. Ten to fifteen pages of paper. My assault squad. A high elf noble. 20 tins of GW paint. Pallet. Six paint brushes. A cup of water. Cell phone. Removable Harddrive. The marines from Space Hulk. A few more randomly placed CDs. Camera. Camera case. A long empty bottle of Coke. Tape. Receipts. Tissue paper. Four batteries. A pencil. A pen. A page a day calender. Dust. Two pop can tabs. and under it all, a Signed poster of the Snow Birds.

...
Yeah. I barely knew there was a desk, you have my vote!

It's a trifle cluttered - at any one time I have around 4 projects on the go - but it also holds my computer, scanner, printer, surround sound, 4 document trays, 2 desk lamps and other clutter.

I know where everything is on it though,

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Everywhere I'm not supposed to be.

Oh lord...
Unfinished Stormtroopers, cutting mat, knives, knife blades, clippers, glue....general modelling supplies, buncha paint pots, brushes, camera, valkeries waiting to be finished, about half a chimera/russ, box of Cadians that will one day see a game table, a couple Grey Knights, a few empty beer bottles (I like to paint and party...what?), and now some CSM and Chaos Termies. I'm assuming there's a table under all that.

If you need me, I'll be busy wiping the layers of dust off my dice.

My modelling desk is pretty full, but in a nearly organized way - the space around the desk though is awash with about 10 half finished sprues and modell boxes. (There's also two in the window sill in the hall and two on the couch downstairs)

it wasn't until this poll came along that I remembered I actually have computer desk It's so full of mugs, books, cds, ashtrays, mugs being used as ashtrays (yeah i know!) that I'd completely forgotten it could be used as a workspace!

My desk is actually in really bad shape right now, I don't have any other place to put terrain, figures, paints, etc. It's all over my desk (along with music a guitar stuff).

Mine is a nightmare. All 40-odd of my paints are constantly strewn across it, along with my brushes, any WIP miniatures, glue, ballast, etc.

My desk is in aconstant limbo stuck between "kinda full" and "There's adesk there!" i kepp my computer with printer and scanner my work stuff and my painting stuff + minis, but i still find it clear enough to use the comp without knocking stuff over, oddly other people who need to use the PC can't seem to achieve the same result

Now on to my assembly/conversion area, its not a desk per se its а cabinet with drawers where my minis and bits are kept, on top of it i have a piece of dentist equipment, you know that part of the dentist chair where all the drills and junk is stored, i have that its an old model so its big and there's room on top of it to do my cutting/gluing,drilling (yes i use the dentis drill for minis ), if anyone is qurious i'm not a dentist however i got it from my dentist when old models where outlawed here in Bulgaria and she was gonna throw it out so lucky me, free drills i still had to buy my own drill bits for e'm tho. Seeing as that surface area is smaller than a desk i try to keep most of the stuff i ain't working on in the drawers.

Edit: Damn typos

Update: I underexaggerated. My desk resembles what I imagine would happen if Jabba the Hutt ate a Wal-Mart and threw up, then got bombed by an Earthshaker battery and then struck by a meteor.

In other words, pretty bad

I have an update! I now have many desks, all of which are very organized.

I have 30' of countertop split into assembly, basing, painting, airbrush and photo stations with my different bitz boxes all labeled; the last thing I want to do is sift through a box of shuriken cannons to find a bolt pistol.

It's like my old man always told me, "Don't worry about the guy with the messy desk. Worry about the one with the exceptionally clean one, because he's obviously not doing anything..."

"Oomans is pink and soft, not tough and green like da Boyz. They'z all da same size too, so they'z always arguing about who's in charge, 'cos there's no way of tellin', 'cept fer badges an' ooniforms an' fings. When one of dem wants to lord it over da uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da uvver arf don't, so 'e 'as ta hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. Wot a lot of mukkin' about if yer asks me...
