I was wondering as to how you painted your cadians? the armour looks fantastic!

If I had a dollar for every dollar I spent I'd have all my money back.

Thanks. I spray them black, then paint the armour dheneb stone. It's drybrushed with bleached bone, then highlighted with skull white.
In other news, I have been extremely sick with some virus, but I'm now back on my feet, hoping to get back to the paint table tomorrow. The aim is to paint a squad of 10 veterans by the time I leave in mid-jan. I'll keep it posted.

Well, I managed to finally finish a few guys.
3 Veterans, front and rear:
2 who can count as either sergeants or junior officers:
And another of Bolt Pistol, whom I'm especially proud of.
Next on the table is a batch of 5 guardsmen from a veteran squad.

Do a good job, or don't do it at all.
Yeah, that doesn't seem to work. I decided not to paint my Tau army because I'm no good at it and, like you said, no point in even trying in that case, but I still get bitched for not painting!
I like the metal Cadians. The lasguns look kinda weird I guess (like my metal Catachans), but just like the metal Catachans they have so much more character. That and in the Catachans case the arms don't look as ridiculous.

Please don't misunderstand my original comment, Sidstyler. I was originally referring to painting a miniature's eyes. The attitude which you described is not at all what I was suggesting in the first place. Be positive and reward yourself - I'm terrible at painting more than a few models at a time. Damn perfectionism... But it does help sometimes, though!
The Cadians are looking good, AG09 - Keep it up! The Bolt Pistol dude is an especially cool model.
I apologise if my first comment was too negative in any manner.
