Subject: Space Wolf HQ doubling does it allow for multiples of other armies units?

My main army is space wolves ; space wolves HQ selection states that HQs for space wolves army consist of 4 HQs for each HQ slot you normally would have you receive 2.
It even states it in the next senetence you may have 1, 2 , 3, or 4 HQ choices in Standard Missions.
You start off a space wolf army with 4 HQ selections.
If you take 1 HQ selection you have 3 empty selections that you do not take.
People are making the argument that taking a Space Wolf HQ gives you an additional one. It doesnt it states space wolves have 2 hq selections for each 1. It doesnt ever state thee have to be from the space wolf codex.
If you argue one way you run in to the argument space wolves cannot ally as well their HQ selection is different.
if you argue the other then you still have 4 HQ choices instead of the normal 2. It states rather clearly that Space Wolf Armies have 4 HQ choices. It does not state these have to be take from the space wolf army list.
The reference point is for a rule about creating a Space Wolf army. Not a special rule applied to space wolf HQs.

but it doesn't need to reference space wolves HQ.
Why? because space wolves HQ reference the rule.

Now show me in the rule under leader of the pack how many HQs a Space wolf Army has available to it.

leader of the pack allows that when you select a space wolf HQ it gives you an additional HQ choice.
Nowhere under those headings does it say Space Wolf HQ choice.
I take a rune priest as a HQ choice ; I have an additional HQ choice
i take a wolf priest as a hq choice ; I now have an additional HQ choice.
I use those extra HQs to take allies.
The rule is based on HQ selection when making a Space Wolf army ; not on the actual HQs taken.
Even if I take 1 Space wolf HQ choice I still have 3 empty space wolf HQ choices.
Because its not the actual selection of a HQ that gives you this but the special rule that Space Wolf armies may have up to 4 normal choices instead of two.
The rule for leader of the pack is pretty fething simple.
Again
Each HQ 'slot' not HQ selected lets not read into it allows to take up to two HQ selections.
If it was written.
Each Space Wolf HQ selected allows an additional Space Wolf HQ you would be correct.
it doesn't so your wrong.
I'm sorry but space wolves are to epic for your whining
I revoke your right to play anything so metal

Any way you argue it you can state its a legit selection. If say well it gives you an additional selection if you take a Space Wolf HQ.
GREAT, I take two normal FOC choices of Space Wolf HQs and earn 2 more. I take allies for these choices as there is no restriction that says these extra selections must be Space Wolf HQ.
What people are stating is that taking a Space Wolf HQ earns you an additional Slot to take additional space wolf HQs.
it doesnt state anywhere in there tht this is true.
All it states is that in a Standard Mission space Wolves have 1 2 3 or even 4 HQ choices.
It says that each HQ slot not SPACE WOLF HQ slot gives a Additional HQ selection. It does not place a restriction on this at all.
This is a army wide space wolf rule. Not something that the individual selections of HQ have. All the anotation is is for you to know that as a Space Wolf Army you have 4 HQ selections to make.

Holl ... Look page 87 BGB FOC "One box on the chart allows you to make one selection from that part of your army list" But every time you take a space wolves HQ the * kicks in and allows you to take a second a second HQ in that slot.
BUT if that second HQ does not also have the rule it will take up a single HQ selection slot as normal.

Hollis - except NOTHING allows you to use the "Leader of the Pack" rule unless you are selecting it from the "HQ" selection. So that 2nd HQ you thin kyou are allowed? It will tkae up a full space as you have no permission to determine otherwise.
You have a fundamental flaw which you have yet to address, despite being called on it many times. At this point there is no point in debating with you so I will leave this thread to others with...more patience.
