Quick update.

The tank is sitting in degreaser, soon it shall see the light of day as a daemon-machine of DOOM!

Thought I'd share a few thing's.

I wana do the helmet and body armor Fortress gray. And the fatigues this color.

I'm also once I get the black wash and orgyrn flesh wash. Gonna do up some guy's in my new scheme.

I also wana try to make a Guardsmen or two look sorta like this.

Think kitbashing and some greenstuff can do it.

Please post ideas for making something like this. I'm kinda lost with it.

Also:

I=1
II=2
III=3
"I" will never go past three. After that, it resets and uses the next numeral in a combo.

So...

IV = 4
V=5
VI=6
VII=7
VIII=8

And again, resets and uses the next numeral

IX=9
X=10

So on and so forth. Very simple, and you'll rarely need to know anything beyond those three numerals at this day in age. Definately good knowledge to have if you're involved in the GRIMDARKFARFUTURE

And I like em. They're spikey without overdoing it. They need some GS stuff though - make their gear look more mismatched/improvised.

Look in my gallery. See the tank Crewman with the one square shoulderpad? Something like that would look cool. Or some Guardsmen with double-layered Shoulderpads. Just something to make them look more Chaos-y

See I only ever learn't how to do "13" XIII just for grimdark purpouses.

This is my Platoon command for my shooty platoon. I think I'm gonna run with heavy bolters for the most shots and I have plenty of anti-tank.

First time I have seen this blog. Looks like a good start to making the models. Try and do some of those with a test color scheme. I want to see how one looks.

As a final update till then I scored some beastmen arms with weps and stuff and I redid amy regimental standard.

Nope shinra soldiers.

Well first sand down the chest so it's flat and plain, then after the legs are on, green stuff 3 strips, and "stud" the middle strip for the buttons.

At least, that's how I'd do it.

Nah, I got a nice old russian WW2 soldier with a button jacket.

I'll green stuff the HELL out of a cadian helmet.

Last week I destroyed my thumb, but it healed when i built my Berzerkers

What about using your Guard as Indoctrinated Soldiers (Counts-As Penal Legion), and then using WHFB Chaos Warriors modified to take guns as your Guardsmen? That -would- look pretty fething bad ass with some augmetic gibblies added to them.

That would be fairly sweet.

But I'm thinking of going plain old loyalist. I mean I do have a Evil army in fantasy, why not be good guys in 40k?

I'll have some pics of the stuff I got painted so far next day.
