They're not bad, but a little too, you know, bland and subdued. I think you you try to make them a little more "busy" so they stand out on the table.

Hmm..... mmmmmmkay.... not entirely sure where you're going with that. Any suggestions?

I like the conversions... reminiscent of the old Harlequin jetbike-canopy Wraithlord conversion, but quite a bit creepier.

I think the paintjob so far is a little busy, though. Whilst the fluff supports Harlequin colour schemes being a riotous mess of colour, in practice that makes for a mini with no focus. That's why GW's Harlequins are painted with a limited number of different patterns... It doesn't perfectly match the fluff, but it creates a much more eye-catching effect.

Meanwhile, since this thread has been a bit of an ongoing work, I'm going to shift it over to the Blogs section.

Yeah I really think you lost a lot of elegance in using just too much stuff. You might want to flesh out some of the lines, I can see places you didn't even make the painted line flush with an edge of the model. It really looks like you just kind of slapped some paint on there that way.

Note the candy striped arm.
