The apporpriate age I believe is around 11.
There then in middle school(at least here thay are)
If you teach them to early they might not even get it.
But only in small amounts like how fetuses are made and the process. Not postions like on teacher I KNEW tried to.

Kid gets educated, Parents get some say, and lets face it, kids talk to each other. The Kid getting the education can then help with some better informed discussion with his peers.

Part of the issue of sex education is whether to allow parents to veto the subject. Plenty would.

And that is do to many people who want there kid to keep there innocence. That is a problem if you dont teach you kids about sex this may happen.

Well, a child's innocence is not something to be taken lightly. That being said, I think parents should teach their kids about sex first. Then they are the ones to break the ice for this delicate topic. Then, let the schools answer any lingering questions later, after proper ccontext has been established.

But, it really depends on the parent to decide what relevant topics should be discussed with their children.
