Hey, I am a NoVA player as well. Not here on Dakka much. Groups to know though:

1. The Iron Fist League
- Website: http://www.ironfistleague.com/forum
- Play @: Game Parlor Chantilly - Tuesdays Evenings and Saturdays (Primarily Fantasy Lately); Game Parlor Woodbridge - Tuesday Evenings and Saturdays (Primarily 40K); Game Vault in Fredricksburg - Thursday Evenings; Eagle and Empire in Springfield - Sundays
- Good Group, a little bit opinionated, lots of members (I've been one since 2000)

2. Sugarland Gamers
- Website: http://sugarlandgamers.coda.net
- Play @: GW Sugarland (Sterling) mostly 40K but some fantasy too. Currently has a 40K Pyramid, Necromunda, and Mordhiem League going on besides the normal events.
- Small group of players that usually value a good game or a highly competitive one, though recently some players have been playing with stronger lists. I play there whenever possible and am a Mod on their Forums.

3. SGI
- Website: http://www.tlsconline.com/forums/index.php
- Play @: GW Springfield - Sundays? This group is mainly a bunch of friends that play. They used to game at GW Springfield, not sure if they still do. They a more competitive more hardcore style game the most of the rest of the area.

4. Inner Circle
- Website: http://icgc.users-board.net/index.htm
- Play @: Games, Comics, and Stuff in Glen Burnie, MD - Sorry not sure which day, I know it is around 3 nights a week. They are a bit North of us but put on a good even and have a large group of players. They used to play at the Glen Burnie Bunker but not that it is closing in a few monthes they have moved to a new location

5. Dawg
- Website: ? These are the guys that play on Dream Wizards in Rockville. They play on Thursdays and Wargaming night.

6. FAIL
- Website: ?
- Play @: Hobbytown, USA in Fredrick, MD - Sorry don't know much about this group, it only entered my radar recently. Their club used ot be called FRAG

There are several others those are the ones on my radar currently. If you ever need help with intros to IFL or Sugarland Gamers let me know. You can PM me here, On either other forums, or any number of others as HuronBH. Or send me an e-mail @ jpowell37@gmail.com.

Kid,

I am a member of the DC Big Gunz. They club used to play at Potomac Mills mall, but moved to the Woodbridge GP when the GW closed there. That being said, all but two of the members play warmachine now. They dont like 5th edition. You saw the two of us that play 40K still. I play at Springfield and for now the other member is stationed in NC, but he should be back in the DC area in 6 months when he retires. When he gets back, I think the Gunz will get back into 40k again. Plus we will start holding some tournaments of our own.

FYI, I had the Loganwing army. I was wondering which player you were. Would have been kinda wierd walking up to people and asking are you Kid Kyoto.

Thanks for this info. I live in MoCoMD and it seems like I have to drive over an hour to get any weekend gaming or events. :( Driving over an hour is not possible for weeknights.

It seems like we are lacking a true "DC" beltway organization. There is no gaming inside 495 :(

I may be murdered for doing this, but our group is typically looking for a wider range of opponents. We play in the Tysons corner area(Ennkay's house) but plan on checking out bigger places as well (game parlor etc, some of our group plays at Complete Strat and GW Springfield already)

http://ggf.digitalagestudios.com/index.php

We currently have 9 players

Dark Eldar (Building Black Templars)
Space Marines (Counts As Blood Angels till June 6th)
Space Marines (Generic) /(Building Orks)
Space Wolves
Nids / Dark Angels
Ennkay- Imp Guard
Eldar
Chaos Space Marines (Nurgle) / Tau
Me- Chaos Space Marines (Tzeentch) / Dark Eldar (Building Chaos Daemons)

our Age range is 18-22 but we are pretty accepting of most.

Mayhaps see you at Game Parlor? (or on the forumz)
