Will skipping it benefit me?
If yes= roll it now
If no= skip it
That is far, FAR too subjective! How do you determine what is a benefit or not?

Example: Tau Firewarriors assaulted by Angry Marines and have to take a Test, but forget.

One can argue that missing the roll was a benefit because there was no risk of a Sweeping Advance (So the unit doesn't die)
One can argue that missing the roll was detrimental because there was no risk of a Sweeping Advance (So the Angry Marines cannot be shot at by the Tau Player)

This would be incorrect - the brb is quite clear that the survivors take the pinning test.

But if the explosion only kills 0-1 models, then they would still be fearless. However, if the explosion kills enough models to drop down below fearless status, then yes, they do have to take a pinning test.

Dashofpepper's comment about tournament play not being friendly play is very telling.

Just because you're trying to win, doesn't mean you should be a jerk or bend the rules.

Why did the berzerker cross the road?

you have been playing long enough and are very competitive... No excuse for forgetting to take your morale checks. Sounds shady to me.

I'm not sure if they're supposed to?

Specific to the bridge, I didn't say anything pre-game because I thought everyone treated bridges the same...you get on it from the ramp somewhere, and cross it. Jumping off the top of the bridge seems like it would cause trouble for your jumping units, and having your model jump straight up in the air to more than twice their height to grab the lip of a bridge and clamber on (or with jetbikes using a vertical thrust to shoot into the air and land on top of a bridge) seems like it would be troubling as well.

We didn't discuss it before the game...apparently my understanding about "height of the model" to climb onto something without treating it as terrain isn't universal.

As for handling missed morale checks in a previous turn; there have been multiple answers. >< I guess there's no clear consensus.
