I looked at running a list like this before I settled on my guard list. The thing is we are in an age of this game where every thing is mechanized. I know turn one my army would pop 2 maybe 3, if i roll well, of your LR. The the same turn my valk and hydras tear up your CCS. At this point you still have 11 peaces of armor which other than your 2 autocannons will just sit back and out range you to death the rest of the game. Also about termies I get them to you by deep striking them and not they are on top of your guys and you have one shot to kill them all or your done. Which also reminds me where is marbo in your list I have yet seen a list worth playing that did not include him. 65 points for a demo charge where ever you want it. If he does not earn his points back in the 1/2 turn he is on the board then you have done something wrong.

Snikrot WILL put a hurt on this list. You won't get a chance to shoot him before the two burna's with him torch a buncha guys and his squad multi assaults and straight mulches your guarsmen. Your going to have a hard time popping battlewagons that, due to faster moves will keep their AV14 facing your minimal anti 14. With a KFF mek reinforcing said BW's, alotta boyz and burna's will liquidate your men on T2. Plus most good ork lists will be fielding boosting kopta's that mean if you don't go first alotta tanks could already be gone. Not trying to be a jerk, just saying that the army I have the most experience with in 5th ed would not fear this at all. You need more anti tank.

That makes me cry.
Back to the list...
Edit: What exactly could I include? I want to fill up my heavy slots, and I really only like the Demolisher and Executioner, and I already have 3 demolisher ktis, so I would like to use them.
I WOULD take a manticore, but the model sucks on FW. Meh, maybe I'll change my mind.
Meltaguns are too short ranged, can't afford a chimera, don't really want vets in a chimera anyways.
Edit Edit: Nvm, it costs $60 dollars on FW, not going to happen.
Edit Edit Edit: As far as I see, I have transports, termis, horde, covered. I am a bit short on AV14 and to somewhat a degree AV13, but thats it. I'm going to go ahead and buy more models following this list if nobody else has suggestions on what I could include to knock out AV14 at long race minus a manticore. Its sad that its my favorite vehicle, and is very good, but its model is terrible and its $60!

I run traitors too -- and footslogging guard is a fluffy, but unrewarding exercise against 5th ed forces.
For Manticores take any Guard hull (Russ or Chimera) and add one or more model rockets. I use 1/76 scale Bristol Bloodhounds, which look great and cost $7 each.
I've also heard good things about 1/48 scale AIM-54 Phoenix missiles from F-14 sets.
Mechanize!
Barring that, get a lot of autocannons and cross your fingers.

Maybe drop the commissars and get some lascannons. You're not really set up as a cc blob anyways, and if they get to your gunline do you really want to stick around with fearless? I would want to run, so my CCS can issue GBitF, and they can shoot that turn. Vox network could get shelved as well, and even the regimental standard if you really need points.

Drop the commissars, you say...that would free up around 130-145 points I believe. Without vox network I have I believe an extra 35-40 points.
Thats just barely enough for two Heavy Weapon squads with Lascannons, I believe, if not, I can drop the standard.
Back to the list.

Ya I don't think you'll miss that stuff too much, although the RegStand will help hold your gunline so I'd drop that last... I don't worry about vox's myself, ld8 is pretty solid and I just look at orders as a bonus - they aren't going to win games just by themselves imo.

Yeah, standard is staying, Vox Network is handy, but not all that jneeded.
Commissars going aswell, I guess.
HQ:65
Company Command Squad
- Regimental Standard
Troops:785
x2 Infantry Platoon
Platoon Command Squad
- None
x2 x2 Infantry Squad(s) (There is two squads of twenty per platoon)
- Autocannon
- Grenade Launcher
-x2 Heavy Weapon Squad
- x3 Lascannons
Heavy Support:650
x2 Leman Russ Executioner
- Plasma Sponsons
- Hull Heavy-flamer
x1 Leman Russ Demolisher
- Multi-Melta Sponsons
- Hull Heavy Flamer
I was actually thinking of dropping one of the Lascannon teams to give my P.C.S x4 Grenade Launchers, and then a HWS w/ Mortars for the hell of it, or dozer blades on the russ's

I don't know, it's looking pretty lean and mean right now. I hear ya though, the PCS's do seem rather hurtin like that... but nice and cheap scoring units that can MMM and I! to get to and sit on objectives, and help the infantry the same way...
I don't know dude, the infantry are so nice and lean right now, and they are really just to protect the tanks (which will kill everything the enemy has if given the chance). It's more likely you'll need the las to protect the tanks than the morts or GL's, imo.
