le sigh. Okay.
These:

are the originals. They were released in limited quantities to contest winners/friends of Hortwerth/MAS. They were going to go into production, but never made it due to Hortwerth (I think) being slightly unhappy with them in some respect, and the molds being difficult to produce. Additionally, there were arguments over whether to produce them in resin or metal. As I understood, the metal faction won out, but there were issues with the moldmaker/caster and the tools, etc. so it never came to be. IIRC, Hortwerth said he would like to see them released, and is currently tweaking them a bit to make production easier/fix some of the issues he had with them.

Joining the chorus of those who buy the original-originals for sure! Also, a "tech-lance-arm" for the tracked model would be awesome (not that they aren't fairly easy to convert, but saves a bit of time or the many other conversions an Ad Mech army would need).

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

I'm with you on that.

I mean, they'll be pricey, and I'll probably only be able to afford/justify two or three squad's worth, but they will be fun to work with, paint and field!

chaos0xomega just explained why they're not for sale. Scroll up and read.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Apologies, I didn't notice the second page of this thread as the large images on the first pushed the page larger than the screen...

Also...

Seriously Agamemnon2, is there ever a day when you aren't a miserable pisspot? Mate, go have a cheese grater spank to Radiohead or something. You make Marvin from Hitchhikers look like Barney the fething dinosaur.

That's a bit strong but I must admit the Marvin/Barney analogy literally made me laugh out loud.

If you guys are really interested, pm Hortwerth(I assume hes a member of Dakka? I only spoke to him at warseer...), and see what their availability is. Chances are he'll tell you to contact MAS, but I find him to be a bit more responsive to emails and such then MAS is, but thats might just be me.

I'm sure that if more people pester him like I do, there might be a renewed effort to get these back on the market. Lord knows I would like to buy more of them... come to think of it, the 22 I have are sitting unassembled in my room... Maybe once I get my new airbrush I'll have a go at some of them...
