The LoD is a force of "unknown" heritage with hints on a lost chapter. ( fire hawks ).
Isn't really a 1st founding legion ( yet ). The name refers to its appearance, but legion must not indicate its a space marine legion. Rather a force of unknown size. Seems this " legion of the damned " is a case of a cool name....
Actually, the codex or the WD article reveal about the LoD nothing new, so it stays "mystical".

Legion of the Damned were a 21st (cursed founding) chapter originally named the Fire Hawks, so they had no Primarch.

I thought it was to have the Story so you could add one DIY Space Marine, and one DIY Chaos Space Marine.....so it is open fluff wise.

You are correct. It's just I guess if you been in the hobby for so long, you get tired of hearing about how thre is so many chapters that are from the missing primarchs, so it's frowned apon now in saying that.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

The Book that mentions HORUS looking at his (and the other primarchs) Birth Place and seeing the other 2 Unknowns is Graham McNeils "FALSE GODS" from the Horus Heresey series.
I have always liked the Idea of Sigmund being one of the Lost, its an excuse to build a Model with a War hound Titan sized Power Hammer !
p.s. Sorry CADIAN 512 - SIGMUND would be my version of SIGMAR , (Should have made that clear )
not to be confused with SIGISMUND was the champion of the Imp Fists wasn't he? any takers?

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest! |
