Wow. Really, really good. You already demonstrate a firm understanding of what colour schemes look best on Space Marines, and you've got a really unique look going to boot.

definitely subscribed! If this is only the beginning I just know i'm gonna wanna see the end.

For the names how about something alone the lines of Knights of the Jade Cross or Order of the Jade Seal, something like that, you get the idea.

That's a wonderful work, but now, please, tell us how you managed to get this amazing green!

What did you use as a basecoat, Mithril silver? Boltgun metal? Thrakka green and badab black for the washes? how many layers?

O H I am in the Webway...

I think the paintjob reflects a first army. Metals and washes are VERY forgiving when painted like this. Also, most beginners that I know paint their marines metallic colors first so it was a tad of a giveaway.

The army does look nice though. It isn't too overpowering of a metallic color and its unique. Good job.

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster and if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you

No mold lines and keep the painting very neat and you can't go wrong. Also don't put paint on think. Lots of thin layers work best.

Stick to that and your army will rock. GW.

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.

Here's how I did the green, basecoat black, then Mithril Silver, 1 coat of Badab Black wash, then about 4-5 coats of Thrakka Green.

A wash of delvan mud or gryphonne sepia would do wonders for the gold areas, and you clearly know how to wash!

Cool, thanks for all the comments guys...

Cjsuner, thanks for the suggestions. I think I kind of like The Jade Council. Although I probably won't settle on a name until I'm done painting, that's one to think about.
