Good point Gwar. Lucky for me my army will only include this one land raider (my other battlewagon will be an ork one, i just had the land raider lying around from an ill conceived salamander army when my hatred for all things non inquisitorial imperial kicked in) and my flgs has people who play with much larger conversions. If I take it to a large tourney I will most definitely clear it with the officials before hand.

For those interested, be looking for my "AdOrkus Morkanicus" army profile (featuring said land raider battlewagon) to come out in the next month or so when everything's all painted.

I'd like to see the deff-rolla. The launchers just aren't nearly close enough. Also a LR battlewagon would have to be extensively converted, otherwise it just seems lazy.

Trade rules: lower rep trades ships 1st. - I ship within 2 business days, if it will be longer I will contact you & explain. - I will NOT lie on customs forms, it's a felony, do not ask me to mark sales as "gifts". Free shipping applies to contiguous US states.

Gwar! is just giving you gak.

Nobody would care about a converted battlewagon, so long as its not excessive. Raider size is perfect. 9x12x5 is not. But youll be fine in any and all events. I cannot think of a single person who would not allow this so long as it is WYSIWYG on upgrades.

I would and most TO's I know would. It can't clearly look like a LR & must be more converted than a "Looted Wagon" to count as a Battle Wagon. Especially with orks, the more extensive the better so long as it isn't Over-kill, but that line in itself is kinda mucky.

IMHO make it look superbly Orky & make sure it clearly has all WYSWIG upgrades & components.

I wouldn't say the following but I do know some GW employees and as such . . .
Keep in mind GW's lust for $, plenty of their employees would have to disqualify it in a tournament unless it was converted to the point it would no longer fit in an SM army to be sure you aren't "double-dipping".

I've never seen a TO disallow a conversion.

A good one no, but one that looks lazy &/or looks like it is being used for another army (Different codex) as well, definitely. Rare occurance because people tend not to bring poorly converted models to tournaments but it has happened.

Edit:
After looking at the picture, and once it's got some paint I'd say it's passable by my standards.

I voted Yes, because I'm a friendly guy and will play against any conversion or proxy as long as I can understand it.

From a modeling opinion, the roller you made is clearly the better choice.

Then what do you model the stikkbombs as? Hmm? If stikkbombs=frags and frags=deffrolla?

Id hate to play at whatever events you run/play in. Far as im concerned if someone takes a raider, and paints it up green with a big ork glyph on the front and calls it a wagon they are cool. So long as they let the person know. Adding gubbinz is always a plus, but it shouldnt have to look like gak on wheels to qualify as ork.
