Looking great, and I can't wait to see it painted up.

thanks for the kind words Alpha. The new weapons 3 cc and 3 ranged,2 more armor styles, 2,. almost 3 more heads and even an additional missile rack t fit on its back.

Also, in an ironic twist on something you threatened to do previously, I'm going to make another promise.
If the package is not signed for, it will be returned to me. If it is returned to me, I will set out everything that is in the box of import and burn it. I will watch it go up in flames.
The video that I shoot of it will be posted to YouTube. I will email you a link, as well as post links to it in open forums.
Remember when you threatened me that, if I sent you anything, you'd burn it and send me a link to the video, Matthew? Well, this way, you'll get what you want (burned models), regardless - MagickalMemories

Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to post a quick messege so everyone knows this thread isn't dead. I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan again. As soon as I get home I'll start slinging some plastic and get some new updates posted as quick as possible. Thanks to everyone for the kind words so far, and I look forward to hearing from you all again as soon as I have something new to show. Cheers.

Hi Everyone,
I'd like everyone to know that I'm back from Afghanistan and will be resuming the construction of my knight titan asap. I hope to have him complete very shortly. After that I plan on finishing my Iron Hands army before I begin painting anything. I have a ton of conversion ideas and I'll do my best to share as I go along. Once the IH army's complete it'll be back to the Knight Titan household for knight number 2.

Hi Everyone,
Here's my first quick update. All I've added so far is a brass Imperial Eagle to the left knee, power cables to each arm, and a banner to the cannon arm. Let me know what you think. I hope to have this guy completely built by the end of the week.

Hey TyraelVladinhurst,
I purchased this knight from a gentleman selling them on ebay a while back. I may still have his contact info. If so I'll forward it to you and maybe you two can work something out. Everyone else, thanks for the encouragement. Cheers

So far, I am very impressed. I like the direction it is going, with all the fiddly bits added to give it more depth than the average X-men figure from Wal-Mart (which is my beef with the usual sculpts you see for Knights).

I think it could use some armored gauntlets to protect those workings on the arms. Also, a cod piece of some sort would be nice, too. Just some thoughts.

Aren't the power cables too long?

I'd say the one on the axe is, the other may be as well but I can't see it as well as the axe one.

Great stuff!

[b]Brother Bartius, thanks for the constructive criticism. Most knights I see have power cables that seem rigid, or tight. They don't seem to take into account movement or funtion. I was attempting to make mine look capable of accommodating the knights arms complete range of motion without looking overly long. Does anyone else feel the cables look to long? If so I'll take a harder look at changing them. Cheers.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

The overhang of the chimera is going to be a PITA in game, any chance you could center it a bit before its too late.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

Unfortunately, it's far to late of that. My only other option was to use a much larger base and I didn't like the way it looked. I'll just roll with it the way it is and hopefully people don't mind during friendly games.

How large are Knights in relation to other titans?

I know bigdaddy on the AdMech forusm makes these, and he also put a warning out regarding people ripping off his designs. These can be recognised by poor casting technique (bubbles, lack of details) and also lack of options.

AvatarForm, Knight Titans should stand about 6-7 inches in height. The FW Warhound is 10.5", and the FW Reaver is 18" in height. As for Bigdaddy you are correct. He casts some amazing looking knights. I actually own two of them and look foward to building them after I complete my current one. This knight is as far as I know an original casting by a gentleman selling them on ebay, and that's how I aquired it. I hope this helps.

Hey Everyone,
Here's a quick update. I added some targeting devices inside his visor. I felt the straight "cylon" visor seemed dull. Also, I have a couple pictures of the power axe. I'm thinking of adding the mechanicus symbol in the pics to the axe but I can't make up my mind. Input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Grayspark. No, the axe made out of some type of resin. I'm not sure what the original one was made out of, but I couldn't imagine how long it would take to sculpt from greystuff!

Hey Everyone,
So I'm finally home and ready to start working on my knight household again. I've decided to shelf the current knight. I feel like I've added enough detail at this time, and I'm ready to start work on a second. The new one I'm starting is Redstone's knight. I've actually already started writing some fluff to justify it's existance and size. In the fluff it's known as a Crusader class Knight Titan. As for tabletop purposes, I'm counting it as a warhound titan due to it's size. The knight will be armed with a plasma blast gun, and a vulcan mega bolter. So far I've already done an initial wash and tried to clean up mold lines, air bubbles, and other imperfections. Next I'll be filling any gaps/ holes with green stuff, and then I'll start construction. Also, some months ago when I first got the knight I had an idea to convert the chainsword he came with to the Vulcan Mega Bolter with bits from the Stormlord kit. Here are the initial pics from the conversion.

I hate that faceplate on the latest pic. Sorry, but its just ...ugly. Other than that, I freaking love that mega bolter conversion. Well done.
