Yea, I'm actually not a fan of the knights head either. I'm going to try to remodel the face with plasticard, especially those "bubble vent" things on the cheeks. My goal is to make it look more like a actual Knight helmet. We'll see if I can pull it off. My other idea is to use the new Venerable Dreadnought kit to try and make a head for it. We'll see how it goes. Thanks a lot for the compliments on the bolter. I should get it finished pretty quick, and then I can build the actually knight. Also, I meant to say that it's a Knight Conqueror in the fluff, not Crusader, as there's already a Crusader class Knight.

Good. You dislike the same thing about the head I do! Yea, ditch those things and add some card and you are golden.

Well I've been stuck in a rut. I've been working on my second knight, but I can't get the head like I like it so I've destracted myself by working on my Iron Hands Assault Marine squads. I apologize to everyone who's been watching this thread and waiting for an update. I'm refocused and ready to rock. I'm going to shelf this knight for know, and start on the third. It should go relatively quickly since I have everything ready to go and don't have to do any real converting. Wish me luck,

Hi Everyone,
Finally an update on the current knight titan. After what seems like forever I've finally found inspiration for the head of the knight. I've been seriously inspired by Mato Noupa and his scratch built knight titans. http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21409 I had other ideas but I really like the way this has worked out so far. With this major obstacle hurdled, this knight should come along quite quickly. Let me know what you think.

So....total change of plans. I decided I didn't like the heavy bolter, and leaving the Sentinal cockpit unaltered just didn't look right so I went ahead and completed Mato Noupa's cockpit conversion and it looks, in my humble opinion, AWESOME! Now I just have to filll in the dead space inside the cockpit, and add some targeting lenses inside the eyes and it will be complete. Also......LEGS!!!! Things are coming along nicely.

Nice job filing that CSM helmet. The conversion itself is quite nice also.

Oh, and the Knights are epic.

Hey Blood Reaper, thanks bro. I'm quite proud with the way the head has turned out so far. It's still a work in progress. I'll post more pics of it soon. Until then here are some pics of the legs and pelvis. I hope to have the top and arms on tomorrow. Cheers

Hi Fatty!!! Thanks a lot. I'm glad I could motivate you and good luck. If you do decide to build a 40k scale one please let me know so I can follow your progress. Once I complete all of my purchased titans, I'm going to try scratch building one just for fun. I'll do my best to post a step by step while I do it.

Your latest titan looks like he has a crown (dunno if that was intentional but I feel you should run with it)
side note, it needs gold details and big red LED eyes...
thru those teeny slits it'll look...so...AWESOME

Dark Lord Mr Fluffy, thanks bro. I won't lie, it was kind of intimidating at first but once I got the ball rolling things have been going really well. You should give it a try.

Hey dbsamurai, the crown look was not intentional but now that you've mentioned it I can definitely see it. As for the red LED's I hadn't even concidered that, but it would definitely look EPIC. Do you have a link to any LED tutorials I could check out? I've never used them before. Thanks.

Hey Everyone,
Unfortunately life interfered this weekend and prevented me from completing this Knight as I had hoped. No worries though, I've continued to make progress and he'll be finished soon enough. Here are some more pics.

Had a major issue today. I managed to knock the Knight over and completely broke his legs from his pelvis. At first I was pretty unhappy, but I took it as a sign from the Machine God that he wasn't happen with the quality of work so far. With that said, I took a step back, re-evaluated the situation, and started to work. I began by elongating the pins from the legs to the pelvis. Repositioned the legs, and secured him to his base. On top of that I've managed to secure one of his arms, THE PLASMA BLAST GUN!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to attach the Vuclan Mega Bolter. After that I just have to finish the head. Once that's complete, then begins the most dreaded part. Green stuff.

Love that you're building a Knight Household. However, you've touched on my biggest pet peeve regarding Knights...

Knights are NOT Titans. A Knight is a different classification of Adeptus Mechanicus warmachine altogether(hence why there are different classes of Knights like there are with Titans).

Thanks for your interst. I'm quite aware of the difference between a Knight Titan and a full size Legio Titanicus Titan. The current model I'm building is actually quite taller then the other knights in my household. Because of this, and his bulkier size he will "count as" a warhound titan, hense his weapon layout of a titan class Plasma Blast Gun and Vulcan Mega Bolter. Cheers.

Hey Alpharius!!! Thanks for dropping by. I'm glad you like um. Stay tuned. Once I finish this guy I'm rolling right into my next one. I've got 5 more to build and then I'm probably going to try doing a scratch build one. After that, I'll be painting all of them back to back. Cheers,

Well, you did invite other Knights, sooooo....
A Lucius Pattern Knight. More angular like the bigger Warhounds and Reavers of the type.
Thr "head" is the cab from an HO scale F3-F7 series locomotive. I'm experimenting with the cab of a Dash9 series next keepping with the more angled shape.
I think the legs are still too thin, even with the plates.

Alpharius, you should post some pics of them on this forum. Knight Titans are awesome. After I got my first one I became some kind of totally obsessed Knight crackhead, and it was perfect timing because I stumbled into multiple people selling different kits. I can't wait to get them all built.

Welcome dkellyj, your knight looks stellar. His size is perfect and the color scheme is great. Using a train for the head is a great idea. I would have never even thought of it. As for his legs, if you add plates to the sides of his upper legs I think they'll look much more filled in. I would also try bulking out is feet so they look more capable of supporting his weight. No matter what he looks good. If there's anyone else out there with knight titans and they want to post them PLEASE FEEL FREE. All are welcome.

Yer such a cheeky git.

I'll post pics of mine tomorrow if I remember after CPR class(for Medical Professionals!). He's lonely without a partner, but between Adepticon and Botcon, I'm short the funds to build up my household right now(something I wanna do before I invest in any Titans).
