When first got interested thought about Beastmen, but decided to go for the Skull Pass set to help get to grips with WHFB
Got Wood Elves for my daughter. Turns out she like the Dark Elves cos the look cool

Once they are all painted up and a few more dwarves added to the army may start beastmen, but there is so much going on that needs doing it may be a very long time away.

Woodies are probably my faves.

Even split isn't there? That's the great thing about Fantasy, each race has a distinct band of followers.

That's not to say we don't hop around though... I'm collecting skaven at the moment, but played about with Empire, Lizardmen and High Elves in the past.

I've been collecting Warriors Of Chaos since 1989 and have been playing games with them off and on since 1993. I have a Beastmen collection in boxes I don't seem to be able to find time to paint and play with. I have a lot of Daemons, old and new as a by-product of my passion for all things Chaos. I used to use them with my Warriors, now I'm looking at using them by themselves for both game systems.

I've recently added some brand new units and a Chaos Giant conversion to my Warriors Of Chaos, visible in my Dakka Gallery.

I'd heavily disagree, Empire have issues with Beastmen, but Wood Elves and Beastmen have many footnotes about being hated enemies, they have been a pairing before in one of the Summer campaigns, plus without a heartbeat of hesitation Empire's nemesis are surely (what is now) Warriors of Chaos.

I collect Dark Elves, High Elves (once the next wave is released I'm going all the way) and Wood Elves. I have 2000pts of Dark Elves and close to 4000pts of Wood Elves. I had a great deal of success with my Wood Elves in previous edition (haven't tried them with the new rules) and my Dark Elves are so far undefeated. The new rules suit them.

1000 Point Daemons of Chaos, 100% complete and fully painted. My first army.

2000 Point Dark Elf Army at 86% complete, just need 10 Witch Elves, a Death Hag BSB (I'm using a converted Lelith) and 3 Shades and its done. It's about 50% painted.

I want to expand the DE army to 3000 points, but I'm still fuzzy on the details. I know I want to add Corsairs and Lokhir, but I haven't done the maths yet or figured out what I'll need to buy.

1000 Point Warriors of Tzeentch Army at 93% complete, need 3 Chaos Ogres.

2000 Point Warriors of Tzeentch Army at 72% complete, need 12 Chaos Warriors and 2 Chaos Ogres.

I also have a Brentonnian army at about 10% complete, a Beastmen army at about 20%, and a Tomb Kings army at about 5% complete. The Brentonnians (3000 Points) are the next major project after the WoC and DE are done, then the Tomb Kings (4000 Points) are going to be my 2011 project.

Since my last post, and mainly thanks to Island of Blood I have a 1500pt and growing Skaven army. The first time I've properly had them as a army, and I love the little blighters.

Empire has been put on the back burner for the forseeable future, in fact I'm more likely to get a updated army like Tomb Kings or Ogre Kingdoms before I return to Empire.

Unless that hinted summer release is Seige, in which case I will looking at a Empire garrison force.

The armies I collect seriously is Beastmen and Warriors of Chaos. However, I also have a smaller Dark Elf army and an expanding Skaven army. But Chaos is what is closest to my heart.

Oh yeah, I have a snotling army too
