I got a modest Lizardmen Army and like 500 points of Dwarfs.

I used to collect Lizardmen,but then I lost interest.

Fanasty wasn't as fun as 40K.

I have a fairly complete lizardmen army that hasn't been out of the box since 95 lol!! I keep seeing the old metal Slaan Mage Priest on palenquin going for a decent buck on Ebay and have come close to selling them a couple times!

I much preffered 2nd ed 40k to whatever ed fanatasy was in then. I tried to get into it but the movement trays and regimental formation always made me yawn

Yep, the new army book looks great, with the Warsphynx and the Necrosphynx, you've collected them at the right time.

Pretty even matched, didn't expect that. I kinda imagined there would have been a more significant breach between goodies and badies.

I also play the Chaos Dwarfs, and I cannot waite to see some more minis from warhammerforge :-)

Thinking of starting a fantasy army up, heavily themed around magic users. I'd want the core units to represent a terracota army that's controlled by the mages (inspired by the latest Harry Potter film), I'd probably look to build it from the Empire. I think. Maybe. Note sure. Plus I've only started out with Dark Eldar recently so starting a new army now would be stupid!

Been collecting Empire for years, but only taken it seriously for about two years. Just bought a batallion box,, an additional mortar, and kurt helborg. already had about 500 points.

Lizardmen are my main army with Warriors of Chaos when I get bored of them. I've started picking up Undead because I REALLY love their models. I got a large force on the cheap so I couldn't pass it up.

Lizzies are my main, but I also casually collect Daemons and Beastmen for their easy conversions and scratch builds.

Lizardmen and recently started Vampire Counts. I also have a small detachment of Skaven but don't plan on really doing much with but will probably eventually get around to doing.

Started with, and Empire is still my main. Have Actually made a start on painting them

Had no intentions of starting another, but a small, already (nicely) painted, HE army came along at a price I couldn't pass up

Then SoM came along and I had the bright idea that VC would be a cool sorcerous pact to take alongside my Stirlanders. Now I have a VC battalion and several of the new single sprue plastic minis. All still in the box atm

Just High Elves. I bought a fully painted current edition army earlier at the beginning of the summer. I got a great deal and a great looking army for a first WHFB force

Have 3000+ for each plus odds and sods for most other armies - except Dwarves.

I play more 40k though as prefer the more free form movement - alhtouhg the new edition of WFB is great compared to some of the pevious.

Warriors of Chaos for me, just ordered a box of Bloodletters for the wife.

Mind you they will be used with non GW rules, but the armies will be mostly GW minis.


Im also eyeballing some Ogres, might use them to add some heavy hitting to my Chaos warriors.

Wow, compare the even spread across armies WHFB with the 40k where it is all about Space Marines. It's an interesting Poll, if 40k was spread like this maybe we wouldn't see every other Codex being a Space Marine one.

I have played every army at some point of my hobby. Currently playing with Daemons and HighElves, with Daemons being loaners. Will start building a special ogre kingdoms and Daemon army though.

I don't collect WHFB, Non of the factions there suit me to well.

I was starting up VC's until the news came round there was a UK price rise so none now!
