I see you made the mistake I nearly did on the construction of the ork trukk.

The instructions are wrong, the driver and gunner are supposed to be the other way round.

Grot tank looks great, loving the Beverly Hillbillies truck as well.

Thanks!
It's actually very simple, I just spray the whole model white, and then apply two layers of Thrakka green over the top.
That's all.

Yeah, I guess since i am British, as is Games Workshop they should be the other way round, but its clear on the floor panel that the drivers seat can go either way.

I guess Orks don't care much for traffic rules.

I also love your "grot tank",very cool, but,if you plan to use it as a "counts as" Killa Kan (wich I belive I read),you have one to many claws, killa kanz only have one claw.

Yeah, you are quite right, but it looked really odd with only one Klaw.

Thanks for the feedback though guys!!!

True that, I did manage to realise after poly cementing most of the gunner in place... You can't get the driving panel in if you put it in the smaller of the two sides. Not making it interchangable seems damned odd design to me.

I just used the zappers in a game against the Blood angles.

Brutal.

Though interestingly not as effective as my 15 strong squad of gretchin!

I've gotta say, there are some ace conversions here. I especially like the Grot tank, it's one of the coolest things I've seen in a while. Keep up the good work!

Actually, if you test fit the pieces, you'll see that the kit was made so that they fit in fine BOTH ways.

Wow, thanks! that made my day.

I only wish I had talent for something Useful in life.

Anyway, A lot of people on here seemed to like the grot tank, and he was very effective in my last battle (counts as a kill kan), so i have decided to make another.

Here he is, pre painting:

Ill post pics of it painted soon.

-Peace.

Wow, Thanks!

I really enjoy fielding Grot tanks as kill Kans.
I just feel that if orks infest the entire Galaxy, then it is silly to expect all their gear to look so similar. Also, Kill Kans are actually quite effective.

Im not sure that Orks are really the "best" for scratch-building Goober, But they are certainly the easiest!

Silly Brit,
All Orks are Americans. Didn't you know?

BTW, awesome work on the scratchbuilds...that is the way Orks are supposed to be modeled..... All of my Ork vehicles/HQs are kit-bashed/scratchbuilds as well. Way to go!
