"Straight Fething Silver" Tanith first and only

I have a reputation, Modile, a reputation as a fair, honest man who treats his soldiers well and supports them in the face of darkness. Potentially, that reputation makes me soft. It seems I understand failure and forgive it. Some, like Kowle, believe me to be a weak commissar, not prepared to take the action my rank demands. Not prepared to enforce field discipline where I see it failing. I am an Imperial commissar. I will enflame the weak, support the wavering, guide the lost. I will be all things to all men who need me. But I will also punish without hesitation the weak, the incompetent, and the treasonous.
I am a Commissar. I am empowered to deliver justice wherever I see it lacking. I am empowered to punish cowardice. I am granted the gift of total authority to judge, in the name of the Emperor, on the field of combat.
— Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt, prior to the field execution of his uncle General Aldo Dercius

Very nice desert looking scheme. I love the blue seeing ports and the blue plasma, they look so nice due to the contrast they create. I colourful company banner would be nice, would look great with the whole army set out behind it.

Keep up the solid work mate

Iv'e spotted mold lines on harkers sandbags sorry but I can't stand them, and it's a same to destroy a nice model with modl lines. Otherwise, I love your paint scheme, it looks pretty realistic, but the scraps/battle damadge on your tanks maybe need a little more realism, they look to clean now.

Because its a desert scheme its harder to make it look real with out over doing the weathering. You won't get as much mud or debris over the tank as you would say jungle fightnig. If you look at pictures of armor in Iraq or Afghanistan; you see that for the most part they're just scratched up and covered in dust. Which is why I go with washes for weathering. The intent on the paint chips is to exagerate the dimensions of the vehicle as much as I can because the lack of other weathernig. always on corners to represent the thing going through small walls and sand storms eating away at its paint.

Same method as the other Russ', a good layer of Gryphon Sepia. I'll do two coats when working on tanks; the first is to get a thick coat into all the corners which also gets all those dark spots; the second will be to dimple the effect on the larger flat areas to make it look more random for the dust, and to darken some of the corners as needed.

The Land raider was shot with Enchanted blue; then I used my airbrush with chaos black to weather all the edges. Finally it was a shot of watered down bleach bone for the dust; actually I may have used a Tamiya white for the dust. But either will work.

You're not the only to give me gripe about the mold lines on him; even when I pointed out that I just hadn't worked on the base at all yet it was still "a big deal." Appearantly "in-progess pics" can't show them; or the gods will smite thee! ahhaha. At that point I had only focused on the mold lines on Harker himself. I actually Finished painting him last night; I wantd to take a picture with dry paint this morning; but the camera seemed to accidently get left on last night so gotta way for the batteries to charge.
