Can't wait! I'm not an ork player but a friedn fo mine is and has said i can have one of the spare CC arms for my IW DP!!!

I love the look of the pincer with the dual saw blades in it. Some of the armour bits look ripe for a chaos conversion too!

Very nice looking kit, thanks for the pics.

Thanks, my Dread fits those measurements to a tee. Now I won't feel self conscious about fielding a big dread.

I really love these new models as well. If they would have come out a few months ago I might have not made my kans and dreads.
Guess I will stick with my scratch ones.

Although all those shooty and grabby bits are nice.

Thanks for posting with the pics.

Wow i hate GW cos i just built my sratch dread and they come out with a model that awesome
i thinking some of these arms could be use to make meganobs pklaws how big are they comparted with nobs?

Plus it's fairly credible that a GW marketing campaign for their biggest release would fit on one side of A4 - Flashman

They're pretty big; any one of the Dread Klaws is probably as tall as an Ork by itself. My sense of proportion wouldn't let me use them as power Klaws on regular or even Nob-sized Orks, though you could easily cut off the ball-joint from them, drill them out, and stick an arm in there.

There's a basic sawblade from the Dread kit and a drill from the Kan kit that aren't too big, they might fit on a warboss...

@disdainful
Can I just ask what it's like trying to field a dread with 4xDCCW? (as per the codex allows) or has GW gone and forgotten one of the most common weapon fits for an ork dread again?

I'm thinking maybe some spare arms from the kan kit, what are your experiences?

Can't wait to get one of these, if I have a spare £30 in march...

^ There's enough CC arms to give it all four slashin' arms; you get two larger upper arms and two smaller lower arms, plus 5 different end bits of Klaws/saws/etc. The kit has bits for any weapon option available in the codex, except 2x scorcha. You only get one scorcha.

My second Dread is going to be an all CC-monster, for sure. That way I can save gunz for the Kans.

Are the weapon arms compatable with the Kans?

^ Yeah, all the arms from both kits have ball joints that fit into sockets on the shoulders of both the Kans and the Dread. They are universal across both kits.

I posted up a breakdown of the Kans last night, too:
