Anyways, on to my rapid Scout insertion squad, a five man Scout squad with Land Speeder Storm.

Land Speeder Storm

The Land Speeder has an Assault Cannon from the Ravenwing upgrade sprue. Sorry about the crappy pics.

Next up is to complete the Scout squad (2 more scouts) and a regular Land Speeder.

Firstly Happy St. Patrick's Day Delux. The speeder is looking great very apoc now.

I was going to say get the Jeep from FW and the Valk to drop it.

Have you thought of putting smoke launchers on the bikes as Anti pursuit grenade launchers?

I don't like the AC It doesn't look right, too long almost. That's just my opinion however.

Probably not going to put grenade launchers on the bikes. I do plan on build up the back of the bikes with stowage, netting and stuff like that though. And the Assault Cannon is from the Ravenwing sprue.

I really like the look of the assault cannon on that scout speeder. The gunner I like in particular, he has a very convincing look using both of his arms to aim that cannon, blasting some xenos away with it!

I came up with the grenade launchers many years ago.

This is more game advice: i suggest fielding sniper scouts as two separate units: this way you can get two BS4 sarges and two rockets.

Another this being that assault cannon on land speeders (especially storms who i believe have only BS3) are not worth it.

I'm not really worried about the army's effectiveness in the game itself. I don't play, I just collect.

Oh and an apology for anyone following this blog for the lack of updates. Real life and a lack of funds has really screwed up my modeling potential. Hopefully I'll be back on track sometime soon

FINALLY an update! Only five months later

On the banner issue, I decided to use the banner from the Dark Elf Cold One Knights. It fits my idea of a fast moving force so I got my snippers out and put this guy together

I also finally got started on my Deathwatch squad (which will count in game as Sternguard). I wanted to do something special with it, so I decided to have it lead by an Inquisitor. He still counts as a Sternguard Sergeant, but I will use the Inquisitor model.
