Always loved the Avatar, cliched as he may be.
This monstourous warrior, the last line of defense of a Craftworld, carving through enemies, filled with rage and passion.
The picture of it from the 2nd ed Eldar codex (full page) was the best piece of artwork ever imo (think it weas reproduced in later codexs?).

Actually Bjorn from the 2nd ed SW codexs pic was a very close second.
