Then I would combine Tau, Tyranid, Eldar (both shades), and Orks into Codex: Xenos maybe with an appendix on Chaos Demons. Similarly, Codex: GuardConversions would be evenly split between Traitors and Loyalists. CSM would cease to exist in favor of all Daemon Prince armies, making their codex a handy one pager--probably also PDF. Finally, I would split Witch Hunters and Daemon Hunters into at least four separate books each.

I fully expect that this post will land me a job with GW slightly after Jervis reads it and slightly before his head explodes over how I am the only person capable of succeeding him.

You are hired... *hic*
There's just one more thing. I would regularly update all of the books I just mentioned.

Id squat the Daemons of Chaos book and the new CSM book and just cram it all in one book change summoned Daemons to normal "Full Blood Daemons" do away with the CSM list as present and just restructure it....

I'd let the SM keep their chapter-specific codexes and their new ones when/if they pop up.

Then completely give the Dark Eldar a swift Choppa to the neck, ending them forever.

And in their place begin to build up Eldar like the SM, with Craftworld Specific codexes, not just a few extra bits of extra rules. The reason for the codexes is to actually balance out bonuses and to encourage Eldar players to diversify their selection, i think it was 3rd/4th edition everyone was playing Sam-whatsits back when we had special rules?

And who knows, update Necrons with tomb-world C'tan specific subsections of special rules, OR MAKE GAUSS MEAN AGAIN.
