oh god. I spent way too much money on bits on ebay recently. Mainly because I was stupid, and treated it like any other online store. When I used the Buy it now option, I thought that the "Commit to Buy" just put it in your ebay cart.

So, now I'm out $140. But on the plus side, I'll have plenty of bits.

I'm going to need a lot more bases.

Well , as you know im very bad at the hobby aspect , actually i dont even play ,
so im bad at warhammer period. Thus for example , people magnetize things , i dont have the tools to.
So instead i get extra sets for the options.

so LR stuff , valkyrie wings , valkyrie cockpit ( because mine messed up T-T ) stompa guns , predator sponsons because i lost one some how
vehicle casings , well for $6 for a base , or $6 for a whole vehicle casing i can use as base

etc etc , it just adds up fast

But for the cost of all those bits you could have bought the tools and magnets and save a heck of a lot of money
Btw, If you ever pin your miniatures then you have the tool you need. Only thing else is superglue and magnets.

I propose to create the ABB (Anonymous Bits Bidders).

"-Hello, my name is Joe.
-(all) Hello Joe.
-I'm here because..well...I don't know how to put it right...I've spent 150$ on bits this month and it's the same every month... I think I've got an addiction problem, I need help.
-(all) *clap* clap* clap*."

Seriously Luna I exactly know what you're talking about, since I don't play as often as I would like I spend most of my free time converting model, and there really is always this little bit you miss to achieve this conversion you're working on.

Moreover, in my case there is an other point: shipping.

Most of the good ebay bits shops are located in the US, and the shipping to France is not under 7$ which considering the price of bits incites me to have bigger orders to reduce the the part of shipping in the price I'll pay to keep the transation worth it...

I tend to be the one selling bits for 99p starts so I can't complain! When I need a bit I tend to scrounge off mates or buy the whole kit as it will probably come in useful at some point (typical Ork mentality!)

However I would always be happy to donate any spare bits I have knocking about to a good modeling cause

Perhaps a new forum where people request the bits they need in return for p&p fee only would be a good idea?
