This process takes a bit of times guys ( was in on the last order ) patience is a must for this sort of thing. The dice, as well as the attention they create at the local shop when you break em out will be well worth the wait. Trust me. It does take a while to get these custom made and to our hot little hands all the way from Poland! Also remember these are made to order not just sitting in a bin.

Captian Vyper - Not to be a butt hole here, but do you know how long this will actually take to make and send out? I guess I missed that when I ordered and never really saw the fine print. I'm totally cool with waiting, but I just need some kind of time frame. Don't take it personally since you know at Battle Foam our process takes several weeks also. I just normally like to have a clue on delivery dates when I order stuff.

Seeing how we closed orders on April 30th what will be the ship date for the little guys?

I understand where you are comin from man trust me, was in the same boat the frist time around, you pony up cash and the deliverly is up in the air.

Best memory I have say it was about 2 months from order to delivery. Now the order took a while to close so maybe half that time for actual delivery. I seem to recall a delay in shiping possibly to to some Polish mail holiday but dont quote me on that. Then the whole shipment got shiped to Shabado and he had to sort them all out and repackage/address each order to each of us.

Now I know your company has made a pretty big growth and expansion from your start point. Now I'm not sure what your equipment and shipping processes are, but I bet they are alot more cost effective now than when you started and I would also be willing to bet you got more than a few people helping you get your product from the machines to the customer. So I bet you more than most can under stand the pheldgling start and time required to ship large amounts of packages on a one or possibly two man show of man power. Pretty sure hes doin this on the side too around a job and home life.

Hes one guy (might have a buddy to help him by now) getting his product custom created in another country half way across the Globe and mom & pop'in it to us at the end hand sorted and all.

Hes done 2 of these before and I dont believe i have read any complaints. Look I am just a previous customer, I am just trying to pass along some understanding and experience on the dice. I dont know thins guy outside of my last order. I am sure he can get us a more firm delivery estimate sortly. Might want to shoot him an e-mail if you have not already.

EDIT: Hes second post says June/July time frame.

It all depends on how quickly people order, such that we reach 1,000+ or 2,000+ dice. 1,000+ dice is the minimum order amount for this sort of bulk group order(at least to get our quoted price), and at this point it looks that that will not be a problem to hit at all. Once the order is complete(i.e. I have closed the ordering), I will tally all of the color option amounts and place the production order with the manufacturer. If I recall correctly, the manufacturing process takes about two weeks per 1,000 dice to complete for a kustom order like this(it took about 5 weeks last time). Then the dice are shipped to me, I confirm the order amounts(yes, I count every single die) and divide them all up by type and amount for each order. Then I ship them out to everyone. If you are among the first to order, you may be waiting 10-14 weeks for your dice to arrive(June/July most likely). If you are not prepared to do that then do not order. Once again, this is an estimate which greatly relies on how quickly the total number of dice ordered builds. The quicker a legitimate order size builds, the more quickly I will announce an ordering deadline.

Please read the quoted post above, which is the second post I made on the thread and the first question I answered. The time frame for this project is mentioned in as much detail as I can provide based on the progress of things last time. If anybody wants a refund then do so immediately. If you request a refund after I have already placed the order(i.e. made payment for the order to Q-Workshop) your refund will be refused(I am not eating anybody's order), and you will get your dice along with everyone else. As it stands now, we are about halfway through the project. As I did last time, I will be giving updates on the production progress once it begins, though this time I will also be doing so by group e-mail as well. I ask that nobody bug Q-Workshop directly about the order's progress, and instead bug ME. I am sure that Q-workshop will appreciate that it is one e-mail from me that they have to respond to rather than curious e-mails for every one who has ordered(and there are a lot of you). Also, I have already ordered *and received* my shipping supplies form USPS. 125 Priority Mail boxes sit in my garage just waiting to be used, so I am ahead of the game at this time.

Damn, first time Im seeing this. I hope they become available again.

As to the dice totaling, I am almost done. I had 6 orders which had to be combined into previous orders, with other notes in PMs across 3 websites totaling nearly two dozen order alterations. I have finished going through all of that and setting it straight, and am close to having a final total to submit for the order. I'll be very glad when this part is over and done with, as it is just annoyingly tedious.

I have finished the totaling of the dice and dice bags, and have sent off the numbers to Maciej for confirmation. I went over the number totals *comprehensively*, and so am confident that I have everything correct. I'll get hold of Excel and create a totaling sheet if I ever do this again. That's a promise I make to myself!

Anyways, I will likely hear back from Maciej very soon and will post another update on all three forum threads at that time. The most tedious stage of this process for me is now over, so I am rather happy.

I just finished chatting with Maciej via MSN and have placed our order. Payment has been sent and I have received a copy of the Q-Workshop order invoice via e-mail.

Our order is now officially in the pipeline!!!

Production time is expected to be 8-10 weeks from today, with 1 more week of shipping time. So, it looks like I'll be shipping out orders to in July/August. I'll do my best to post timely updates on the progress of the order. If I haven't posted an update in more than week, by all means bug me about it(in nice way)!

Not really anything to report so far, as it is very early in the production phase of things. I'll ask Maciej for an update anyways, and perhaps I'll have something to post this next week.

I just received an update from Matthew as Q-Workshop. The dice are at about the 6 weeks until completion mark, so right on schedule.

Nothing to report yet. Production continues...

Just got an update. The dice are about 2 weeks away from being completed.

Currently awaiting a reply from Q-Workshop as to the order status.

Update time:

"Hello Brian,

I am sorry but I have got some bad news. We had some problems with the templates for the orcish dice. We are currently preparing new ones. It is hard to tell the exact time of production process, I hope that we will manage to get it done ( the whole order) within a month. The 4/5 of your order was ready last week, however it turned out that less then half of is imperfect, the engraving was sketchy and we could not accept that.

I am sorry to give you this bad news and that you will have to pass them further. Everything has been alright until the templates broke off.

Well, bugger. Stuff happens, so things will be delayed for a bit. News is news though, and I want to keep everyone informed. So, we are looking at some time around the second half of August. Guess I'll have a bit of time to get all the shipping boxes labeled then.

Bummer. At least they didn't decide to send out sub-par product, I guess.

I have received a reply from Q-Workshop, and I have some good news(yay!):

"Hello Brian,

We have 60% ready to be shipped if you give me your permission for shipping then the dice are going to be shipped on Wednesday.

The rest of the order is going to be shipped next week.

Is that ok with you ?"

You bet it is! So, the dice will be incoming. More updates to come as I have them to pass on...

One other bit: Once I have the first part of the dice order, I will fill orders in the order that they were received, if possible. I say "if possible" because the first part of the dice order will likely contain the finished quantities of some of the dice color options rather than a mix of all of the color options.

Waiting for an order update...

I have received the first part of the dice order. I'll have to see how many dice, and of what color combinations, have arrived. Unfortunately, no dice bags came as part of this first shipment, so if there is a dice bag on your order, your order will not be sent out just yet. The simpler your order is, the more likely it will be shipped in the fist batch, though not because it is easier to put together, but simply because it is more likely that I have received everything I need to fill your order.

I know that this has been a long process, but the light at the end of the tunnel is now visible. Thanks for your continued patience.

Update: I finished counting the dice that I received, and though I didn't think this was all of dice on the order, IT IS!!!

So, I'll be packing up the orders that didn't include dice bags this week, and perhaps getting them sent out on Friday(the next day I may have the time to visit the post office). Some of the orders are, how shall I say, "complex", so I'll be taking my time and making sure that everything on every order is is exactingly correct before sealing the packages and sending them out.

Lastly, I have just sent an e-mail to Q-Workshop regarding the dice bags, so I'll post an update on that when I get a reply.

Update: Matthew at Q-Workshop ahs let me know that the dice bags are not finished being made yet, but they soon will be. In the mean time, I will be separating and packing ALL of the dice for ALL of the orders. This will insure that my count of the dice is accurate for a second time. Once that is all done, and if everything turns out just fine quantity-wise, then I'll be doing a final count of the dice for each order before sealing the shipping boxes. This may sound a bit anal, but I don't want anything whatsoever to be off. Last time around, everything turned out perfectly. I want it to be the same this time, so I will take my time with this and make sure that it is so.

Once the orders are triply verified, I will be sending out the orders that do not include dice bags(all 23 of them). Once I receive the dice bags, the remaining orders will be sealed and sent out. Based on feedback from last time, it took anywhere from two days to twenty-some days for the packages to arrive. It was rather random, and seemed to have little to do with how far away the package needed to travel. I'll post another update when I can.
