These are looking really good

Here is the start of one of my current commission's:

Its Black Adder themed unit using Forge World's Eylsian drop troopers as a base. At the moment i have just done basic poses for the characers, which await the clients approval before i go ahead and add the details.

The clients have given my this spec:-

The first would be George (Bastonne), based on a standard Elysian trooper:

-Using this head from the FW Cadian Vet sprue (attached image Vet 4, I can send you this head)
-FW Cadian upgrade sword,
-The power pack from Elysian las-cutters to be attached to a the magazine well of a FW Tallarn Las-Pistol,
-A winged skull shoulder pad on the left shoulder (part of both the Elysian command squad and elysian troop squad kits) and a blank shoulder pad on the right
-Add the Elysian magazine pouches, a canteen, knife, grenades, and monocular around his belt
-An empty Elysian holster on his right thigh with sculpted straps on holster sculpted connecting to his belt and around his leg (from the ELYSIAN WEAPON PACK, see image: Holster for details of how it might look)
- Posed like GW’s Kasrkin Sergeant

The second would be Melchett (Creed), based on the Elysian Power fist commander

- using this head from the from the Cadian command squad (attached image) modified to better fit Melchett’s appearance in Blackadder goes forth, and to fill in the detail where the hand was removed from the original model
- Replace the power fist Arm with one better suited to the conversion (an empty one)
-Add the Elysian magazine pouches, a canteen, knife, grenades, and monocular around his belt
-a wreathed skull shoulder pad on the left shoulder (part of ELYSIAN COMMAND HQ kits) and a blank shoulder pad on the right
-Elysian Pistols with resculpted embellished grips in sculpted “leather” holsters on either side of his belt
-Posed with hands folded behind his back

The Third would be Blackadder (captain) himself, Based on the Elysian Power fist commander

-I can’t think of a head that is in proper scale, If possible I would like it if you can keep his standard head and modify the face to look like Blackadder’s.
-keep the power fist
-put a plasma pistol from the FW CADIAN INFANTRY SQUAD UPGRADE PACK in the Elysian holster (from the ELYSIAN WEAPON PACK, resculpt a little if necessary, but keep the same aesthetic) on his right thigh straps on holster sculpted connecting to his belt and around his leg (see image: Holster for details of how it might look)
-a wreathed skull shoulder pad on the left shoulder (part of ELYSIAN COMMAND HQ kits) and a blank shoulder pad on the right
-Add the Elysian magazine pouches, a canteen, knife, grenades, and monocular around his belt
-Repose the right (pistol) arm with a baton and have him carriers it like the Cadian Commander from the New Command squad kit carriers his baton.
-Add a set large equipment pouches from the ELYSIAN EQUIPMENT PACK (I might be able to send you this bit, placed as seen image: sans_t16)

The forth would be Darling (Kell), based on the Elysian Power fist commander

-Can’t think of a head that’s in scale that can be used if you can find a suitable scaled head and modify it to fit Darling.
-keep the power fist
-put an elysian Las-pistol in the Elysian holster (from the ELYSIAN WEAPON PACK) on his right thigh straps on holster sculpted connecting to his belt and around his leg (see image: Holster for details of how it might look)
-FW Cadian upgrade sword
-a wreathed skull shoulder pad on the left shoulder (part of ELYSIAN COMMAND HQ kits) and a blank shoulder pad on the right
-Add a set large equipment pouches from the ELYSIAN EQUIPMENT PACK (I might be able to send you this bit placed as seen image: sans_t16)
-Add the Elysian magazine pouches, canteen, knife, grenades, and monocular around his belt
-A Cadian Command squad banner that has all of the details filed off, the battle damage removed, and smoothed
-Posed like the Jarran Kell model but mirrored.

The fifth and final would be Baldrick (Body Guard), based on a standard Elysian trooper:

-Again can’t think of a head that’s in scale that can be used, if you can find a suitable scaled head and modify it to fit Baldrick.
-Blank shoulder pads on both sides
-put an elysian Las-pistol in the Elysian holster (from the ELYSIAN WEAPON PACK) on his right thigh straps on holster sculpted connecting to his belt and around his leg (see image: Holster for details of how it might look)
-Add a set large equipment pouches from the ELYSIAN EQUIPMENT PACK (I might be able to send you this bit, placed as seen image: sans_t16)
-Add the Elysian magazine pouches, knife, grenades, and monocular around his belt
-pose drinking from his canteen with both hands grasping it.

WOw great work i was wondering if you could do a tutorial on green stuffing beard long hair tashes and things?

I could put together one, but the easiest way to get better with green stuff, is just have a go. And most importantly of all, keep practicing.

I like the dynamic poses and good try at lightning, it makes wonders from the right angle (which is the problem with lightning, looks good from one angle).

Hehe looks like you drew mustaches and glasses on them.. no offense btw

The glasses are now off as the client didn't feel they worked, which i tend to agree with, instead there are a pair of goggle hanging around the neck. As for the tash's, i think they work quite well, They look like the characters they are meant to represent, more or less.

Melchett in particular is absolutely spot on. Can't wait to see more of these!

Looks really good. I've never seen Elysians this extensively converted before, you did well.

there should be chips in blackadders nose. other than that, perfect.

Unfortunately im not painting them, the client is. So its unlikely i'll every see them with paint on.
