Im sorry, but i don't have the templates anymore. But they are easy to make urself, just get some thin card or maybe even paper, cut a little off (about the size of the torso). Line it up and with a pencil draw the shape you want. Cut it out and try it. You may have to do i a few times to get it just right.

As a side not, i never did finish that mini. Its still sitting around in my work room some where.

Actually, to be fair, all I would be interested in would be Solomn Lok or Hector Rex (and possibly your custom Inquisitor).

Well for the ten man (+ sniper, inc the heavy bolter team) squad im thinking around £100, The rex inquisitor starting around £70, The Lok inquisitor £20ish and the Techmarine and servitor. £25.

Is your custom Inquisitor Lord not for sale then. I would still buy it only partially painted.

Hmmm...

Lok seems like a tempting purchase.

Is it the techpriest on the first page? I would be very, very interested in that, especially for a price like £25! I'll send you a PM.

I'm not sure whether or not I should just save the money for buying 5 of your Art Scale kits instead of getting the Inquisitor though. I might need to think it over.

Thanks MajorTom, I always feel like i'm doing something, but i never seem to finish anything, i tend to leave a project for a while, then come back to it at a later date.

And saying that. I put this together while i was waiting for some GS to dry on my TS stuff.

If you haven't guessed, its going to be an inquisitor. Im thinking i might name him Septemus Host. It will eventually have a cc weapon in/or on the right hand, but i haven't decided what yet, might but a power fist. What do you think?

I say a thunder hammer, looks more bada$$ than a power fist.

I like the inquisitor, looks cool, only gripe is imo that the torso needs raising up a little bit. seems to look a bit small for the legs? nice detail on the gun aswell, keep up the great work

How about a hammer IN a power fist? Like an IG power fist?

Lion - I think thats mostly the camera angle, as i have lifted the torso about 2mm already.

The BA Death Company / Sanguinary Guard Power Swords could fit well for an Inquisitor, as they look more "exquisite" & "refined" than most SM power swords, thus matching the high rank of its bearer...

The one on top for Death Company(#59):

Or the one on bottom-left for Sanguinary Guard :

Well, actually, having a look at the SG sprues, most of their power weapons, be it sword / axe / fist, are oustanding...

I thought of that (as i have both those sprues) but i want to keep away from the recognisably BA stuff, as iv already used quite a lot.

He looks quite good. Your GS skills are impressive - I'm jealous! Just out off curiosity, how do you sculpt the smaller parts on your model? (i.e. details work on the gun)
I'm also curious about the shoulder pads' layer - were they sculpted in two sessions or simultaneously?

Amazing work again, congrats!

Praise the emperor, bless your weapon and pass the ammo!

Often with small simple shapes i will used cured GS and cut it to size, either from a rolled rod, balls, or a small sheet. But most of the time if iv mixed up some GS i will just use that instead. The pads were made in 2 sessions, that is the trick with sculpting, build up in layers, its easier and a lot more controllable. You just need to have a good idea what you want before you start.
