Quick question, do the prices they show include the delivery cost?

From Maelstromgames.co.uk Shipping is totally free - worldwide - as long as your order totals $10 or more. This is a recent change (March 2007) due to yet another price rise from the Royal Mail.

If your order is less than $10, post charges per package are:

UK - $1.50 for second class; $2.00 for first class.
International - $3.00 for first class airmail.

These costs are in addition to any kind of recorded or special delivery."

O_O don't even have to worry about the charges to. sweet.

It is our life's mission to convert as many people to the ways of Maelstrom as possible.

Forever alone

My FLGS manager (who runs an independant store) is always really pissed about GW prices. He's often arguing with the nobs at GWOZ about it, and they say that there isn't enough demand to lower prices.

What the feth? Do they ignore all our letters or something? I know almost every 40k/fantasy player in my FLGS that isn't a 12-year-old with disposable income has complained to GWOZ, and the manager has been going on about it for ten years.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I got back into GW this year after a 12 or so year break. Only because I found how much cheaper it is to buy overseas (not to mention the great quality mini's from other company's, wow).

Yeah its expensive but if I run out of white paint and need it now, ill shed the $6 for it. Oh, wait, I buy Vallejo now - $5.

A squad of terminators here is about 4,400 YEN, which is about 55 Dollars Australian, or 48 dollars US.

Comparitvely, this unit is 70 dollars Australian or 50 dollars US.

The yen however is strong VS the US dollar and weak vs the AUS Dollar atm.

Yeah, but the GW Japan prices are still a scam. I've checked Maelstrom and you can get two WFB unit boxes delivered to your front door, in the rain, uphill and everything, for the same price as one unit box at the GW. But by the sounds of it, Aussies are getting the shaft when it comes to pricing. I remember when the Canuckistani Peso-dinari reached parity with the USD a few years ago and the prices weren't adjusted at all. There was somekind of mail order hijinks at the time too.

Pfft, they are wussies. Us Norwegians would kill for a 40% price increase, 66% all the way baby.

And we can't even buy our stuff from Maelstrom etc, as we're not in the EU, everything you import that has a value above 20-ish £ gets hit with insane custom fees
