A bit of funny fluff added. He is allowed to be allied with an inquisition force, but many an Inquisitor that has fought by his side ends up in a nice wooden box.

Shouldn't your chapter just get nuked for fighting against the Inquisition?

If I was an Inquisitor I'd be miffed.

Well, it's not like he does it in front of the inquisition themselves. He does it discreetly. And anyone who is in the inquisition that sees it is too terrified to tell.
All dead Inquisitors are attributed to his amazing ability to have his servo-harness 'malfunction' and end up turning them into a pile of molten slag.

Nobody ever questions this.

I know it isn't good. I don't have all this stuff written down or anything, so it's all jumbled up and not too good. To put it simply, Inquisitors have a strange knack for dying when he is around.

So xeno ladies, mysteriously dying inquisitors, pranks on other inquisitors, a MoTF CM that somehow juggles both duties at once (and is allowed to be a CM regardless of his oaths to the Omnissiah), and the entire Crimson Leaves backstory in general (is he still a teenager?) leads me to believe that this chapter would never have been allowed to exist past conception (and of course since the highlords order new chapters to be created one of them must have been insanely drunk).

I mean it's not for lack of trying man, I think homebrew stuff can be really neat and homemade fluff very cool but I dunno... I would really like to see what you can do if you read more of the current fluff. My fluff suggestions to this would be to just slightly rework it so he's a really good MoTF. Oh and the stuff I meantioned above.

But hey I know everyone plays the game for different reasons and I respect that. Always remember: YMMV.

To sum up: You have imagination but it needs to be more directed within the confines of the fluff, at least how things work.

your claiming that the inquistion isn't at all suspicicous about this chapter? ignoring the fact they suddenly appeared in the universe and the CM kills inquistors and cavorts with xenos, all chapters are watched for and your would be no exception. Frankly the fluff for your chapter is ridiculous and egotistical to say the least. I understand that "to each his own", but when you start seeing characters like "Pimp Masta [insert your name here] the Bitch Maker" the game starts getting a bit stupid

You love it you slags!

I've fixed the fluff a bit, as he is no longer a teen. I must say, thanks for the advice. Also, he will always be the CM, so that's not changing though. He decides to be secretive, and basically the only people who know what he does either care nothing about it, or are not convinced it is true. These guys are kind of like the Space Wolves in the fact that they don't follow most restrictions of the codex astartes.

Ah I see that now, my bad. Well in that case the only thing bothering me is the inquisitorial killings. You could probably work out something like it has happened once or twice under mysterious circumstances and the inquisition is looking at them now and it is not uncommon for an inquisitorial agent to be "sidetracked" to, like, a different planet or system or something and by the time the agent gets back on track they have lost all traces of the Leaves. Something like that. Slightly less killy but a bit more interesting imho.

There's a rule in fiction, that you can break one of the rules, once. Making him CM and MotF is one, and makes him distinct from other characters. Giving him a backstory of being suspected in killing inquisitors is one, that could make him distinct from other characters. But giving him all of them and he ends up less like a character and more like a laundry list of things you thought were cool.

It's the same thing with his rules, it's still a really long list abilities. Just think about how you really want him to play and cut it down to a couple of special rules with a single theme.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.

No problem, I'd rather help someone improve than sling abuse at them (totally not directed at anyone in particular at all )

Not every special character has to be way stronger than normal.

A "basic" master of the forge is centuries old and versed in all manner of technology, trained by the Mechanicus itself.

There is no reason why your character has to be more super-special-awesome than a normal master of the forge.

Just take a master of the forge, give him a slightly bigger servo harness if you want to go nuts, and give him a couple special rules.

You don't have to decide that your character could beat Marneus Calgar in a fight while out technology-ing the Void Dragon and entire Iron Fists and Iron Warriors chapter/legion, and leading a chapter of tank hunters better than the Iron Warriors while having 4 times as many weapons as an "average" Master Of The Forge.

In conclusion unless your chapter is somehow the specialest most unique awesome snowflake in the entire galaxy, tone your stuff down. A lot.
