yep, there will be maybe more of them as i have some other crazy minis that i was up to now not eager to paint...but they are great to do when you have a bit of a burnout... i so much understand now how you get so many nice minis out weety as you can always have a fresh and shiny new one ...all different and all new...

yes - Doing the same model twice is an anathema to me. A model that is new to me is a fresh challenge to be cherished, and it makes painting more rewarding. These little guys are about as different as you could hope for!

lol, okay I admit it, the word 'lasers' did flash across my inner vision when I saw 'sharks', but it was just a passing thought, honest I had no thoughts of buying some, oh no.

well i think as they carry their own weaponry with them... longrange ones and then all their own teeth too i guess extra ones on their head would be a bit to much...but then there is the saying too much of a good thing ...er...

Vic; yeah armys you gotta paint in batches and thats the way of it I well remember it. thankfully I am not making an army to play with, more like a museum of 1990-80s figures. Couldn't really use them in battle, I would be afraid of scratching the paintwork.

someday you have to make a list or even a 360° shot of all your minis...so that the museum charcter of your collection is a bit accessable to us all here^^...or make a vid... but that needs lots of preperation time... by the way... how do you store those legions of uniquenesses?

On a book shelf arrayed in ranks. Had to sell a lot of books to make the room. So are you going to paint the rest of the shark squad soon? I do love em...

wasn´t there enough room to use in the fridge? after unplugging of course...a true painter needs only stale bread and a bit of water to thin his paints...

TBH I think the red skin is too flat...a wash/highlight might take care of that.
the rest is good!

the current pics are wip still so i have done some work on the models in the meantime... teeth is one thing... the skintone of the red shark is only worked up basecoat stil so there will be some work on it for sure...i will maybe give it a bit of an orange drybrush and see what it will look like afterwards...

also i have done the metalics on the guns... and the sword is now in the process to get a flame effect as i still haven´t figured out how to do a force effect on a sword...the lightnings always look crapy done by me...

you are churning out lots of creative stuff at the moment matey , all good stuff

so here a smaller pic update... needs some drybrush at least on the bases and then some minor detail work...after that i guess they can be varnished and then sent over to the kids to get misstreated^^

How about a darker blue?

red looks better still seems a bit flat...I have no colour suggestions...

i could do a darker blue to the colar and then ad a flow in into the recesses of a ice blue to give it a glow effect?

i tried to "unflatten" the red head but the orange attempt didn´t work out... any ideas as to improve the head?

How about having a darker red (scab red? red gore?) wash over it, taking care not to get the eyes?
