The TH/SS temies should have drawn combat, as each result on the chart "counts as" one wound, so they shouldnt have fallen back.

In a notable and memorable apocalypse battle:
One Imperial Guardsman holding a building from a combined attack from Abbaddon and five of his Terminator buddies...almost lost me the game

Apoc, 10,000 BA and SMurfs vs Tau And Imperial Guard
Tau gunline has 10 Hammerheads w/Rail Thingies. I drop in 80 Assault Marines behind them and kill them all when the Imperial Guard turn around and take them all out in one turn. Next turn our single storm raven jumps in and I take out CREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED and Yarrick together. The rest is as follows: The death company jump out with their dreadnought and kill 60-80 IG before being wiped out. Then I just had to mop up. Death Company own Guard.

Played a game last night, I had held a tank in reserves to outflank, thanks to Creed. I had lost half my forced by turn 4 when my tank finally came in.
It rolled in and 3 turns of excent cover saves and scatter rolls later, I held 1 objected 1 and 1 was not contested by either party.

Bloodthirster getting stuck in combat for 3 turns with a Stormtrooper who almost took his last wound.
Allowed me to focus elsewhere and wreck his army.
10 point model nearly kills Bloodthirster in CC...I love Stormtroopers

Khan + chappy + command squad fully decked out for CC outflanks on turn 4 and multi assaults 2 full units of sisters holding objectives wiping them out, consolidates towards my 3rd and final troop choice. last troop hits with 10 botler shots 12 combi/flamer hits 6 heavy flamer divinely guided. Roll 10 6s on wounsd and end up wiping the squad allowing me to win the game.

I've got two
1) 2000 point game. My IG (just befor the latest edition of the codex came out) versus GK. Turn 1, I obliterate his PAGK's with some very flukey autocannon fire (it's my choice HW, I have a bazillion of them) Turn 2, he has no units on the table, so I move forward to get some objectives. Turn 3, his Grand Master and his Termie retinue deep strike into place. Turn 3.1, I place a battlecannon round on them, wiping them out. Turn 3.2, GK player concedes.
2) More recently, as part of a huge mega battle (no specific points cost, it was 'bring your models and we'll put you on a side') with Imperials (3 guard armies, 2 SMs, 3 BA armies and a small force of GK's) against Orks (9 ork armies, I still can't believe no-one had anything else). All of the Imperials had been wiped out by turn 2 along with about 70% of the ork force. My 48-man-army of knights, all deployed on the home objective (damn thing was huge), survived for 4 turns of constant ork assault. By the end of the game, I only had 4 PAGK's left, but the orks didn't happen to be mauling them for the moment. The orks had left their own objective unclaimed, and my PAGK's claiming ours, and we won the game!
The Imperial side were whooping and cheering everytime I made a save, and they were so grateful, the team captain bought me a coke
Oh yeah, and those 4 PAGKs were promoted to terminators after the battle

This is one of those one in a million things, that just shouldn't happen:
I am sitting in a 14 14 14 bunker, I have the following:(it was a house ruled bunker; as it was huge, we had it have a capacity of 30 models, 15 inside, and 15 on the roof)
10X Eldar Pathfinders on the roof, 5X Dark Reapers on the roof, 10 Dire avengers inside, with Yriel attached, and 3 Warlocks, with Eldrad. I did it for kicks; cramming that many points of stuff into a single building. It worked, too, with me sitting there, destroying things with the Reapers and Pathfinders, with the Avengers running close defence.
Then turn 3 rolls around. A squad of Genestealers outflanks, and blocks the one and only exit. In their team's shooting phase, a lone dreadnaught hits it with his assault cannon: hits once, rolls a 6 for armor pen, rends, rolls a 5, so it penetrates, and rolls a 6. Building explodes. Guess what? The one and only exit point is blocked by 5 stealers.
That is the biggest game turning thing I have ever seen, when based around something as small as an assault cannon bullet.

My opponent was getting frustrated with his inability to kill my small kasrkin squad with his land raider. Only models left are a land raider with a one wound chaos terminator lord in it versus 5 kasrkin. He charges my kasrkin in frustration... 5 hit... 4 wound... just the sergeant, he kills the chaos lord by a hair. I win the game 6-5!

buddy had his snipers in a building which would have taken me two turns to get to his position from the ground level. So i rode my rino up to the wall next to them and luckly the next turn my deamons came in. 10 lesser deamons appeared on the floor below his snipers and rolled 5 for this charge through terrain, they went after the snipers but still killed them, clearing the lane for the plague marines whos rino got destroyed and caping the objective.
