Because it's news about a celebrity.

The most shocking thing is that Ricky Martin is still considered a celebrity.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

And? We play with mini soldiers and most here don't even know how to spell date, much less girl. Since when did pop-culture begin to matter to us?

I think it lets us make gay jokes, and jokes about a guy who used to be famous for crappy music. I don't think that's a bad thing.

Making jokes, it doesn't bother me. Its the gossip in this thread that is driving me crazy.

Bieber. If it it makes you feel any better, I didn;t know who the hell he was either until this thread inspired me to wikipedia him, and realized I had heard one of his songs on the radio once. I'm like, 20, so, yeah.

On a side note, I envy this kid because he's going to get more ass than every male on this forum plus the Jonas Brothers combined.

As for Ricky Martin being gay... People have the right to feth whoever they want to, so long as there are enough straight people to keep making babies. More power to him. I was around 5 years old when that song came out, so I just accepted it as some Spanish guy going insane and went off to do whatever it was year olds did in the 90's. Set their sisters' Tamagochis on fire or something...
