My advice that I was hoping that I didnt have to spell out to you was that you should get some long range transport killing capacity into your list aswell.

Perhaps you should have just said that then. That's kind of the point of the forum, you know, to give advice, not leave cryptic messages.

In regards to the list, I would drop the 10-man Scout unit and take another a squad of Sternguard with Combi-meltas in a Drop Pod. Everything else in the list is designed to rush forward and/or Alpha Strike, you may as well take more units that can do this. You don't really need a unit to sit back and hold objectives when you have Tactical Squads that can drop in and do it already.

You brighten my life like a polystyrene hat, but it melts in the sun like a life without love, and I've waited for you so I'll keep holding on without you.

Well his reserve reroll is the only reason I find he might be helpful which you can use on the board or not or alive or dead. The question is he worth using for that reroll for the huge point sink. Also I'll have 5 drop pod falling in turn one if I need to i.e. want to bring the psychic hood in to play I can land him turn one.

And how many characters do we got in Space Marines that have Eternal Warrior? Answer one Calgar. How many Characters do we got that has FNP? Answer two Scarius and Cassius... what is your point?

You are correct that not many characters have FNP, but you do not have many characters in your list. Just one over 200 points that dies very readily, and is extremely uneconomic for your investment.

There's no need to get confrontational about what people post, and I really hope you noticed the rest of my post, and didn't just spend all your time focusing on one sentence and trying to disprove it.

Q: How many of a specific demographic group are required to carry out a simple task?
A: An arbitrary number. One to carry out the task in question, and the remainder to act in a manner stereotypical of the group.

The Storm Scouts do make a good bully unit. With the Cerberus launcher they can push some units off the board just by winning combat. I've sent them into units of Broadsides and swept them. I was using a power weapon at the time so it took a few rounds of combat as I was not getting decent rolls to wound, thus I now advocate the power fist as it remedies that little problem.
I wouldn't sent them after anything that is good in CC short of something that is already crippled and needs to be finished off.

Have been working on this idea. Dropping one of the Dreadnoughts and taking a Sternguard squad. With the amount of MC's that are becoming more and more prevalent my Dreadnoughts are gunna be in trouble. The Sternguard with a Librarian are perfect for taking them down.
