I've played enough games now that I've had some games of amazing luck, and games of terrible rolling, i've had average games when my opponent was rolling bad, and whatever kind of combination you could have of rolling between the two players. I offered my dice once, and if people ask to use them I always let them...but I HATE loaning my scatter die, and HATE when people use my dice without asking...<.< its bad mojo.

I never really reverse cheat tho. if I roll 20 to hit dice, and by some statistical miracle I hit with all of them, I'm going to marvel at the probability, and me and my buddies will probably figure out the % chance of that actually happening again. If I happened to wound with all of them, I would again be ecstatic! I would never ruin such a cool moment for myself with cheating about it...

For the most part, I haven't had many dice really act uncommonly good. I have a ton of dice, and if some particular dice are letting me down, I just grab a different handful from my big bag of dice (I have over 200 square sided small dice that I purchased from the warstore among my other dice)

Lately my dice have been acting statistically horribly. Last game I played I had TWO volleys of autocannon/lascannon to hits that all ended up 1's and 2's. Nothing turns your stomach more than seeing "1,1,1,2,2,2,2,4" not once but twice on a critical attack. One of those turns I also managed to lose a plague marine to Gets Hot!

I usually bull through and just roll the same dice since they tend to be at hand. I won't lie though - that second round of crap shooting damn near let to dice flying across the room. I kept my temper, but it's closer than I'd like to confess.

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.

Observations on complex unit wound allocation: If you're feeling screwed, your opponent is probably doing it right.
