Just an update on the Landraider/Valkyrie project that I am doing. I adjusted the dreadnought clamp so that it can act as landing gear. Also added a small landing foot on the chin mounted turret. I am hoping to get this baby painted up by Monday. Will post finished/painted conversion then. I will be posting a tutorial for this creation as soon as I receive stuff that I ordered in the mail.

To me, the pred turret looks too much like a pred turret. Maybe if it was wider at the top it might look more appropriate?

I think you and I may have been inspired by the same raider/valk stormraven! I had trouble getting the front to gel well with the LR door, but yours looks very clean. any advice from how you did yours? (for my second one, which I know I'll make eventually...)

How does the dreadnought get loaded onto this craft? If the arms at the back are the rear landing gear then how is the dreadnought attached while the craft is on the ground?

I also wonder how supportive a turret would be for the front landing gear given that it's effectively hollow.

Love the look of the mini Thunderhawk. I'm personally going cheap and doing one almost exactly like your Valkyrie conversion one. Yay for less space in the old battle foam! Both are done extremely well, did you need any plasticard for your valkyrie conversion?

I like the idea of a heavily armored cockpit and a minimal rear-end. Two thumbs up!

The only issue I see with it when I look at it is the angle of the front half compared to the back half.... To me it looks like it has a broken back =X
