Bah, I even checked the FAQ to make sure I wasn't jumping to conclusions but skipped over the Errata.

To be fair to you, the rule in the book indeed does not work, and I even pointed out as much in my Unofficial FAQ, which is probably why they did issue an errata.

Actually, most/all of the events I attend/plan on attending do *not* use the INAT, or at best loosely refer to it for a few key issues. Yakface himself has noted that he thinks the Nightmare Doll works, and its only that way in the INAT because the only precedent at the time was Witch Hunters. Maybe the note in INAT deserves a second glance.

*EDIT* I just e-mailed Yakface about the issue. Hopefully it will get some revision now that multiple other codexes have a precedent to set other than witch hunters.

Nightmare Doll: .....may force his opponent to re-roll the dice when ascertaining who may choose table edge or quarter.
Deploy Forces Rule: The players roll-off, and the winner chooses to go first or second. The player that goes first then chooses [deployment].

Hmm, i know all of our events use it, and I had thought most Indy GTs use it, maybe not though, but you certainly better check before you use the DE in those events, just to be sure.

The only one I know of is Bjorn, and that was errata'd so it would work - are there any others?

Well, Corbulo gives you a re-roll now too.

But it is a reroll to any dice roll you make, which is FAR less specific. Not exactly comparable Dash!
