Lots of guns, thumping soundtrack and Sean Connery saying stuff like,

I came in here to say Dead Man and see I was beaten to the punch...

I don't know if there was a gun in it, but Black Snake Moan has some excellent guitar work.

Kick-Ass. Just got back from seeing it. Awesome soundtrack, and outrageously entertaining gunplay.

Absolutely. I watched that movie a couple of years ago in high school and it was fantastic. I loved the twist at the end.

I am just honestly surpirsed at anyone who thinks that Romeo and Juliet dying at the end is a 'twist'. That's like...I don't know...C'mon, Dakka, I need a good analogy for this.

I second Rambo.

Latest one was best gun movie ever.

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Granted the action sequences were pretty good, especialy the one guy being "liuqified" by Rambo with the .50 cal.
I don't however recall the music to be much more than "run of the mill" action film fair...perhaps I should rewatch it.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

That's why I didn't mention music.

Besides, the sound of a .50cal MG liquefying someone is music of the most magnificent kind.

Ugh. In the play, Juliet wakes up to find Romeo dead. In the film, she sees him die, which would, frankly, cut you deep.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

There was a c-list "celebrity" here who upon exiting the cinema for the red-carpet screening - was seen bawling her eyes out - and sobbing "Nobody told me they were both going to die!"

- Hello. The play has been around for a few hundred years. I don't think it needs spoiler tags.

I saw it once, and tbh, cannot stand the work of baz.

Heavy Metal: The movie was the last movie where music was a big enough part of it that I noticed.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
