Shrouding has saved me on multiple occasions.
Also...Spearpoint deployment...I love you.
Shrouding should and could be better.
Average sight is 30.5 inches.
You have an effective 30 inch range with Stormbolters.
Figure in 6 inch move.
Psycannons are gold when shrouded.

Meh, only vs. Gunlines.
Now-a-days, it's all about mobile lists.
Shrouding is nice when it works, but it's few and far between unless you are playing against some IMO substandard static gunline.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

the thing is most vehicles are RA10 so if they get close the GKs can just chop you out of your tincans without having to shoot you. 4+ to glance in CC.

4+, but most likely 6+ to hit.
Then, if you wreck the tank, oh look, in all likelyhood, the squad comes out...mass dakka and even a charge into the faces of the GK's, and all they have to fall back on is MEQ defensive stats.
Mech vs. GKs will always be an uphill fight. With or without their options for AT.
