Marines are perfectly capable of operating a LRBT, but modifications would probably be made for comfort.
Like heated seats, televisions in the back seat for the initiates and space marine sized cup holders?

Did they ever actually say it was full Marines operating the Leman Russes of the Space Wolves?
Because the statline was the same as a standard Guard Russ, as far as I recall.

You know, funny I stumbled across this, as for my IW army I just wrote some house rules for a Warsmith.
I agree, and really I've vented my hate for the current army book so many times I'll just cut to the chase. Chaos is Chaotic and should have TONS of options for a army.
Maybe after GW makes a Dark Eldar book, if that ever happens.

maybe with the chaotic options you should have as a chaos player they just couldn't fit it all into one codex? =)

It's more like when they gave a ton of options, people found ridiculous ways to abuse them.

I could certainly see Chaos getting a Dreadclaw entry in the next Codex. I doubt it'd work the same as a Drop Pod, but it'd still be a nice, fluffy addition (World Eaters are renowned for their drop assaults...but have no drop pods?).
Though in general, I'd like to see less stolen Imperial tech and more Daemonically-powered tech. Different types of Daemonic Possession for vehicles; more Daemonic tanks other than the Defiler (fast vehicles, heavy, lumbering vehicles, etc); weapons using warp energy; blasphemous icons that can be planted on terrain/objectives to provide bonuses for the Chaos forces and penalties for the enemy; that sort of thing. The return of Daemonic Gifts would make me happy as well, but they'd have to be modified for balance.
