If you're bladestorm-of-fury-ing from 18" away then this doesn't matter as they can't get into assault with you anyways (unless does waaaaugh give fleet or something?), but you don't always get the luxury of engaging your opponent's units from the maximum possible effective range of your weapons.

Waaaagh! Gives the Orks on that turn fleet of foot (Ghazkull's Waaaagh! is even scarier, giving them automatic rolls of 6 for fleet that turn allowing a massive 18" assault reach yikes!)

One thing to watch out for with these tactics is if the Orks have Trukks (which are fast and open topped) allowing them to get behind your serpents and smashing your DA's in combat (i've had several

Ork players do this to me) and causing a pincer in which if you lose the combat and run, if placed correctly can cause them to get trapped and destroyed.
