This was what I was trying to go for originally, The Greyhound armored car that was used by the US forces in WW2
That is why I originally used the larger Predator Tank turret.
But in hindsight, the chimera turret works good also.

Its just warhammery to have everything square and bulky. I like the chimera barrel better.

So I actually like the bigger turret. I don't think the problem is the size, the problem is the mounting. It looks like there's this 6"-1 foot (their scale) gap between the chassis and the turret, which is a STRICT no-no in the world of vehiclular warfare. If you re-mount it so that the bottom of the turret is flush with the top of the tank, it will look much better.
In any case, this is a nice conversion. My only gripe is that it adds a pair of illegal access points to the vehicle.

Lookin' sharp! Definitely an improvement. Reminds me more of a German Puma. That may just be the grey paint though  Also, I may not have noticed earlier, but are those Lego rubber tires? Either way, good work!
