Congrats. My daughter is 13 and I started back up last November with her. She rolled my dice for a couple months then she took over my eldar and I brushed the dust off my DA doublewing. We haved only missed a couple weeks since November and now she wants a CM army with it's own demon princess.

I'd say get her into Orks. Orks are the 40K version of a happy family. IE- smashing things while laughing together, egging each other on into greater acts of talent show off. Everyone eats around the campfire at night and gets loud and laughs some more. Poop is friendly and is to be used to make sculptures.

When she turns 1 year old get her a choppa. or a slugga. plastic of course. let her build her way up to messy death weapons when she's older.

Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

While everyone laughs at my suggestions....I was completely serious.

The OP is off to a late start; no embryo injections, no ultrasound training, no womb indoctrination...a stable birth outside of a battlefield in a sterile environment; that little tyke needs to be toughened up!

Put a small TV in her room that plays the intro movie to Dawn of War on infinite loop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyjCmnkGB1I

Perhaps from time to time you can interject Enemy at the Gates, Terminator, and Predator in there depending on what army you want her to play.

You've got the right thought process. Here's my advice:

1. Inject her with geneseed. In the 21st millenium, we call those steroids.
2. Plaster her room and cradle with scenes of the emperor's glory - let her awareness set in surrounded by images of what she'll need to know.
3. Remember the wise axiom, "Blessed is the mind too small to doubt." Instill her with words of wisdom and teachings of the emperor. A small mind is easily filled with faith.
4. When she starts speaking and you start on the ABCs, remember that A is for Angron, traitor to the emperor. B is for Baal, homeworld of Sanguinius who smote the chink in Horus' armor that let the emperor destroy him. C is for Corax, Primarch of the RavenGuard. D is for....
5. When you get a mobile for her cradle, make it of miniatures. Depending on what race you want her to play, get two mobiles. Hang the one of the race you want her to play with sweet music that she'll learn to instinctively like, and alternate it with the other mobile, which you should make smell bad and have the music be screaming, wailing torment. She'll learn to love one and hate the others.
6. Leave a copy of the rulebook in her cage. She can't read it yet, but she'll learn to recognize it and become attached to its presence.
7. Speaking of which, no "See spot run" here. School her on the rules and let her children's books and picture books be the codices.

You should be off to a good start!

Congratulations!

My first suggestion is to accomplish getting her potty-trained before teaching her 40k's rules.
